This bed and breakfast was an amazing place. It is centrally located, only a couple of blocks from the city center. All of the great things any visitor would want to see in Catania were within a 10 minute walk. So many food choices, it was actually overwhelming. The train station where I took a solo day trip up to Taormina (or anywhere else you’d wish to go on Sicily’s east coast) is also a simple 10-15 minute walk straight down the street. The host and his wife live on site in their own apartment (they own the whole floor of the building, divided into four apartments) and they were GREAT. Had lemonade waiting for me on arrival, and gave me some home made jam when I left. Host was also nice enough to help with luggage up the stairs as there was no lift. The Jules Verne suite I stayed in was HUGE and clean, with a great private bathroom. All updated. The balcony was also a plus, with a street view and view of the church right down the street. The only negative I can think of was the street noise as I stayed during a weekend, but nothing that wasn’t solved with my traveling ear plugs. I recommend this place for solo travel or for couples. Outstanding place.

Diego is the best amazing host above and beyond.
Contact easy by mail and WhatsApp. The day we arrived he took time to show the place , tell us how to walk around town .
This place very close to town but quite at night .
Location is very good close to everything turn left 3 block will go to main square close to tourist attraction like church. Fish market, food and restaurants and plus shopping street and bus tour .turn right have laundry and bakery.
The place is very neat and clean . Breakfast is very healthy like homemade bread , fruit , yogurt, cookies, tea , coffee etc .
Plus he is very helpful and understands like we are going to left to trip early, he prepared breakfast early for us ( our 1 guess breakfast too )
On last day we left city too late and he was very helpful to allow us to leave luggage there .
Thank you very much to make our trip wonderful and great experience.
Very very recommended.

Landolina Air BnB was excellent! The room we had was large, spacious and beautifully decorated. The location was awesome!It was walking distance to all the restaurants , tours and main square. In the evening the town comes alive and you walk thru the streets and traffic shuts down. The brft was exceptional with desserts ,yogurt,meats,cheeses etc ! The communication we did thru Whats App was convenient and easily done. It is a little hard with parking bc we had a rental but we found a spot! Thanks again for our great stay!

Great place to stay. Huge room with original features and 2 French Balconies. Breakfast was excellent with so much choice. Facilities to make tea at any time. Communal fridge with yoghurts and juice.

Diego's BnB was amazing, there is nothing else to stay. The room and bathroom were huge very spacious, perfectly clean, and incredibly well decorated. It was cozy, and thoughtful through and through. In addition to this Diego is the nicest and most accommodating host, providing delicious breakfast and even a view of Etna on the rooftop if you are lucky to have breakfast there. The best place we stayed in Sicily.

We can't praise BB&B Landolina enough for its grand rooms with tall ceilings, location close to all star attractions, clean and safe facilities and not the least, wonderful hosts in Diego and Josie. Breakfast everyday was a grand affair with freshly baked cakes and bread, home cultured yoghurt and fruits picked from their own orchards.
The hotel is in fact a large library with many interesting books, shame we can't read Italian
We still can't believe that we were able to stay in this absolute gem with dream hosts at that price. Highly recommended

Lovely place - don’t be put off by ‘area’ - it felt very safe and is a few minute walk from many of the sights of Catania.
Landolina B & B is run by a lovely couple, who clearly take great care in their business.
We had breakfast twice on their little terrace - but this is only accessible for people with no mobility problems.
The homemade yoghurt and pastries were delicious.
The family room is large, the beds comfortable and it is very clean.
The only drawback is the noise but with the doors to the balcony closed, all noise was stopped. The room has air conditioning and it was needed, even in May.
Overall an excellent stay.

The wonderful breakfast which I never can forget.
This place is really recommended, walk 2 minutes to the DUOMO Catania.
