nice location in the center of the city and kind staff. and one of the most great experience is to meet Ivan at the bar. he is the bartender. such small humble bar but.Ivan has tremendous knowledge and passion about cocktails. i asked him to present italian local coctail and had great ones with amazingly exciting stories and professional explanation. if you are a foreigner, dont hand around here and there but just walk in the bar and find Ivan. and say what kind of cocktail or culture you want to know and experience.. he is the answer.

100년 넘은 호텔이지만 깨끗하고 위치가 좋음. 근처에 식당이나 맥도날드, 스타벅스도 있고 조금만 걸어가면 바닷가도 볼수 있음.

Good hotel, very helpful staff, many thanks to them for helping extend our stay. Air conditioning works well and is controllable. Fabric of the hotel needs a bit of attention, the floor of our room was gouged, and sink a bit temperamental, wardrobe was small. Nothing too serious. Hotel location good and central. it’s near the metro and bus stops.And next to concert hall. Fabulous palaces nearby. Hope the Genoa council bans polluting vehicles from city - air quality on streets must improve!

We loved this hotel. We were checked in by a very delightful young woman who welcomed us so warmly. We had a large room on the 6th floor. Our room was beautiful. The bed was super comfortable. We had a little balcony which we enjoyed looking out at the world below. We had no issue with noise whatsoever. The breakfast is immense and plentiful. You do have to pay extra if you want porridge or eggs that aren’t scrambled. However, there are cheeses, yoghurts, cereal, pastries, hot dishes, salad items etc to choose from. We sat outside to enjoy our breakfast. The serving staff are very polite and friendly. The reason I have given it 4 stars is because I needed a steamer for 2 very delicate items I was going to be wearing. I am aware that they have an ironing service that you can send items to housekeeping. However, I was speaking at an event and also going to a special dinner. The items were irreplaceable and very important to me. I simply wanted to use a steamer to ensure the silk items were kept with me. I kindly requested three times on different days for the steamer. One gentleman at the front desk was abrupt and said they only have two in the entire hotel. I felt uncomfortable by his manner. I never got to see the elusive steamer. If you don’t need a steamer you will have a great stay!

Lovely midsize luxury hotel in the center of Genoa, convenient to the Old Town and shopping precincts. In a beautiful old palace, the room was quiet and comfortable. The hotel doesn’t have amenities like a gym or a pool, but that didn’t matter for us. The staff were all great. We had bicycles and they could not have been nicer about storing them or helping us with them. Breakfast was excellent too.

A classic hotel in Genoa - old but really well looked after - walkable to shops, restaurants and attractions. Room was clean and comfortable, with mini-fridge and a nice bathroom. Buffet breakfast spread was good. No on-site parking, but valet parking is available for a daily fee, and the staff are quite efficient at taking and retrieving your vehicle. Staff were all polite and helpful. We’ve stayed here before and will likely stay here again.

Uitstekend hotel met alle service die je verwacht. Valet parking, bagage, ontbijt, etc allemaal goed en snel. De gehorigheid van onze kamer was een negatief punt. Ergens ging constant een telefoon over en in de badkamer hoorde je alle activiteiten van alle bovenburen.

great place and Location. right on the shopping street and close to main square.. rooms are small but clean and nice.. Staff is friendly!

Hotel Bristol Palace is a beautiful historic property in an excellent location for exploring Genoa. We walked to many of the major attractions, restaurants, aquarium, Piazza De Ferrari, and Columbus House. The hotel itself is elegant, bed exceptionally comfortable, and sheets and pillows among the best of our trip. The terrace restaurant is lovely. We had a wonderful dinner with attentive service and excellent wine recommendations. The highlight of our stay was Ivan at the bar, who was absolutely fantastic! He prepared his favorite versions of the cocktails we ordered with personality and pizzazz. I am giving four stars because, as an Expedia Gold member booking a VIP Access property, I expected the benefits to be recognized without having to ask for them. The two women at the front desk were very kind and helpful and checked with the manager, after which the complimentary breakfast was approved, but the room was not upgraded. The room itself was very nice, but our view was directly into the interior of the hotel including the noisy elevator shaft. As a VIP guest, and also as a travel writer hoping to photograph and feature the property, I was disappointed with the room placement and view. There was also a bit of confusion with a room service delivery, it arrived very late and for only one person, but we were still able to enjoy the buffet. The breakfast buffet could be improved with fresh instead of packaged gluten free selections. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

I felt like a princess and my prince. Ivanfrom the bar was so helpful with local information. He also spoke 4 languages. The front desk staff was attentive even when busy they looked up and acknowledged my presence. The room was immaculate. Easy to access with a huge bath. Chandelier in the center. Tea and coffee . Breakfast was wonderful with a great staff. Best stay on our 22 day Italy trip.
