호텔 바이아 디 푸울로

소렌토에서 상당히 떨어진 바닷가에 위치함, 시내버스나 대중교통으로 접근하기 어려움, 호텔에서 소렌토 시내까지 무료 픽업서비스를 제공하지만 일요일의 경우 서비스를 제공하지 않음. 소렌토에서 택시를 이용하거나 1시간 정도 걸어야 함. 호텔을 직접 찾아가기는 매우 어려움, 외진 바닷가 조그만 어촌에 자리잡고 있음, 주변에 수퍼 등 편의 시설은 없음. 조식은 훌륭함. 바닷가라 경치는 괜찮은 편임.

호텔에서 픽업을 해주지 않으면 택시밖에 없어요 역에서 멀어요ㅡ조식도 괜찮고 룸상태도 괜찮은데 교통이 불편한게 흠이네요

This property was such a great choice for our stay. It was clean safe fun and not to mention beautiful. Staff was amazing. Antonio the golf cart driver was so skilled and got us to our taxi right on time, it was a blast. Can’t wait to come back!

The beach view was gorgeous and having a private beach was awesome. It was easy to get in and out of Sorrento main hub and being right by the water at an affordable price can’t be beat.

Hotel was great. Beautiful surroundings. Hotel staff very helpful getting us to where we need to go. So glad we found this place.

We had a difficult time communicating with Hotel Baia through Expedia, as the phone number provided was not actually for the hotel. The hotel is also located in an area that isn’t easily accessible and requires pickup by the hotel driver. Unfortunately, we were unable to reach the hotel despite trying both the Expedia number and the number listed on Google, as their phone lines appeared to be down. As a result, we had to pay for a taxi to take us part of the way, which was stressful and inconvenient. The rooms themselves were fairly clean, although quite small. The hotel does have a beautiful exterior view and convenient beach access, which were definite positives. However, our room did not have much of a view. The staff were generally friendly, but the transportation situation—particularly relying on the hotel shuttle between the bus stop and hotel—created unnecessary stress and made our stay less convenient overall.

The location was great, people were welcoming and helpful, all amenities were excellent.

First of all the staff were always polite and extremely helpful. The front desk people booked an excursion to Amalfi and Positano by boat at our request with pick up at our marina. Asking them for help with any excursions is a smart move. The breakfast was nicer than anticipated and the serving staff cheerful. Housekeeping staff cleaned our outdoor floor and furniture (bird droppings) everyday. Our view was spectacular and we listened to the surf day and night. This made our stay very enjoyable. The hotel is right off the water and the main road is several hundred meters above. The free shuttle to and from the hotel was a nice touch. They also pick you up and drive you to the metro bus stop from the hotel entrance.

Excelente custo benefício. Os viajantes, contudo, devem se atentar à localização, pois o deslocamento para o centro de Sorrento demora um pouco. O local é calmo, de paisagens bonitas, mas afastado do centro da cidade. É uma das poucas propriedades que possui estacionamento para hóspedes. Contudo, ele fica um pouco distante do hotel. No geral, é uma excelente acomodação.

Alldeles för litet rum och toalett. Men personalen var jätte trevliga och det var rent på rummet

El hotel presenta un estado general deteriorado y, en su fachada, da una impresión de falta de limpieza. Las habitaciones tienen un olor a humedad o encierro, las toallas resultan ásperas al contacto con la piel y la cama no es cómoda. Aunque el desayuno está incluido, este se ofrece a través de un acuerdo con el restaurante contiguo al hotel. La opción es bastante básica y el café es de muy baja calidad. Adicionalmente, el personal de servicio en el restaurante se muestra poco atento y con una actitud poco amable. Durante la cena experimentamos una situación similar, motivo por el cual decidimos no regresar. Por otro lado, el personal de recepción es amable y cortés; desde nuestra llegada nos brindó apoyo con información sobre la ciudad y la organización de excursiones. Como sugerencia, sería recomendable realizar mejoras en las habitaciones y en las áreas comunes, así como invertir en mantenimiento general, incluyendo pintura, para elevar la calidad de las instalaciones.

An oasis by the sea. Sara was particularly helpful with navigating routes to our desired destinations. They’re tour packages to Capri, Positano and Amalfi were very affordable in comparison to booking on my own.

Quarto ótimo, com vista do mar. Funcionários excelentes, nos ajudaram em tudo.

Nice people and very reasonable prices. Location not the best if you DON’T do your research ahead of time. -But if you can figure out how to purchase bus tickets in downtown Sorrento at a tobacco shop first, then it is only about 8 minutes from the city center. I was shocked to find out that taxi cabs cost anywhere from 40-70 euro for such a short distance. Do yourself a favor and take the EAV 008 bus towards the property (or back and forth for that matter) and contact the hotel, they have a free shuttle available that picks you up at the top of the hill at the bus stop (last pick up is 12 midnight)!! The other amenities could use some work.. maybe a microwave and snacks for travelers? The views of the marina bay were fantastic and the staff was amazing. Thank you so much everyone, I will certainly return if I’m ever back in Sorrento!

Vista a la playa, desayuno bien, café riquísimo ! Falta un poco de variedad al desayuno !! El estacionamiento es un poco complejo ya que está retirado y si quieres tu vehículo dependes de que te trasladen, pero bien por que siempre hay personal para traslado !!

What a wonderful stay and facility. I gave it 4 out of 5 for location ONLY because it is not easy to get to on public transportation, which also seemed to be a good thing. We stayed 3 nights and were delighted with Sarah who worked at reception and treat us and others really well. We arrived in mid April, just ahead of the celebration of liberty day and we could tell they all were getting ready for a busy period. We ate at the hotel adjacent restaurant each night, two of which we did their fixed menu. The last night I did a pizza instead was not disappointed doing either option. The views from the room is spectacular and the sunsets off to the left of the hotel are of postcard quality. Three nights was plenty and you really need to prepare to be relaxed or you'll miss the white big idea.

A great hotel in a great location, but a bit far from the center of Sorrento, but the shuttle service worked great.

This one is a hidden gem! If you are lucky enough to find this place and read the reviews, look no further! This place is amazing...a bit of a trek to get to outside of Sorrento but well worth it! Sara was so amazing and speaks 5 or 6 languages so getting info from her was super easy and she was so helpful! The views are amazing, the restaurant great and the location very convenient for Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi or Capri plus you take the city bus into Sorrento and then the metro to Pompeii. They have a shuttle that runs you up and down the hill to the bus stop. I would highly recommend this hotel! The BEST part of our time in Italy was staying here!
