Everything about the property was perfect for our needs. We stayed in October during Tartufo festival, and one of the wine tastings was at this hotel. perfectly organized and wonderful wine selections. The breakfast is very good, and has several gluten free options as well as a barista to make coffees and cappuccinos. Beds were very comfy and location was extremely quiet. Parking is under the hotel, and you just need to run into the hotel on your arrival and they will open the gate for you. After that you can enter or exit with the room key.
LOTS of restaurants and the entire old town is very walkable.

The hotel is placed in the quiet place in the Alba. It takes about 15 minutes from the Alba station. You can get to the square within 5 minutes from the hotel and the square will be full of life (active) during the white truffle festival.
Service was perfect and the hotel managers are always supportive. Morning buffet was also good (nice scramble eggs). For me, I needed to call taxi to get to Barbaresco and Barolo, and the hotel set up the round-trip schedule for taxi. It was not anything to worry about travel the area with the help of the hotel managers. Their English was very fluent and easy to listen.
You can check-in even when you arrive a little faster than expected. Room was clean, and well-equipped (maybe not the best but good). Just what to remember in your mind is that the additional tax will be added for staying by the law (?).

Ótima localização (entre 10 e 15 minutos a pé do centro histórico). Local bem tranquilo, de fácil acesso e com ótimo estacionamento gratuito. O quarto era amplo e com todo o conforto e funcionalidades necessárias. Ótimo isolamento acústico e muito boa qualidade de sono. O café é muito bom e com ótima variedade de itens.

El check-in es a las 15.00. Llegamos a las 12. Y nos fuimos a pasear. Volvimos a las 14.30 y nos dieron la habitación a las 15.35. El personal de limpieza de las habitaciones, grita en los pasillos y al limpiar otras habitaciones, mueven las camas haciendo un ruido insoportable. Imposible dormir la siesta.
El restaurant no nos admitió un día porque había un grupo grande.
Destaco la amabilidad del personal y la calidad edilicia como la excelente higiene. Hay un grave problema de organización( management) que empeora porque vienen grupos de gente( tours).

We love the Calissano! Great, helpful staff and wonderful rooms. The balcony off our suite was a dream. They also keep expanding their breakfast items, so to see vegan croissants and nondairy yogurt was wonderful.
