호텔 카스텔로

산타마르코 광장에서 걸어서 3~5분, 수상버스 타는 곳에서도 3~5분 정도 걸리는 좋은 위치에 있습니다. 건물에 엘리베이터는 없지만 수상버스 타는 곳에서 다리 하나 건널 때 빼고 계단 한 번도 없이 찾아갈 수 있는데, 그 다리도 경사로가 있어서 캐리어 끌고 찾아가기 좋습니다. 입구가 약간 으슥한 골목길에 있기는 한데 사람 많이 다니는 골목에서 30초 거리라 밤에도 안전합니다. 아침 비행기로 베네치아에 도착하였지만 일찍 체크인을 해주었어요. 시설은 베네치아가 그렇듯 저그렇지만 위치가 좋아서 추천합니다.

We were two seniors that were given a room on the 2nd floor. No elevator, but at checkin there was help to take the luggage up. There was a warning on our door. As soon as we opened the door, there was a set of steps leading down to a room. It is in a great location. Our bed was also on a slope to the side.

Air conditioning didn’t work. We had to open the window for air. Everything else was good.

Staff was okay. They didn’t have an iron or any essentials you would expect from a hotel. Showers didn’t work- water would barely come out. We got more water from the hand washing sink than the shower. there’s not an elevator and i have elderly parents. We walked up 6 flights of stairs each day to get to our room.

Très bon emplacement a proximité de la place san Marcu. Chambre était propre et confortable et le personnel très accueillant et sympathique.

The rooms were very clean and they provided extra blankets in case you are cold. There is a fridge for you to use as well. The staff is very kind and accommodating as well! You do have to keep the keys on premise (give them each time you leave) but there is always someone there to rapidly give you the keys upon return. The hotel location is also very close to San Marco and Doge palace, and the ports aren’t far either for water traveling. The cons are the air conditioning and the shower. The air conditioning would not work and each time we turned it on it would blow warm air into the room. The shower had 0 water pressure and would work for about 3-5 second and then come to a drizzle/stop for 3-5 seconds and then return. It was quite a hassle to shower and would take everyone much longer to get ready.

Excellent stay

The hotel is a bit old, but it has a lot of charm and was very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and the area is surrounded with shops and resrsurants. A few minutes walk to the vaporetto station if you want to get a boat ride.

Hotel was a huge disappointment! Whole hotel carries a concerning odor that reminds you off muggy and not clean. Carpets in both hallways and rooms carry clear stains, and smells. Hallways are very narrow, very steep stairs, not easy to move up or down. No elevator. Staff is abrupt and not very friendly. The whole places seems very very run down, and everything is in dire need for serious renovations. Almost absolutely no water pressure. You might get water pressure for 5 seconds, then the next minute you only get dripping water. The hotel falsely advertises that rooms have air conditioning, but does not inform that they ONLY allows it to be used from late April to October. They had removed the remote to set or adjust the air conditioning. Safe in the room? There is a very tiny loose «safe» which is not secured in place or fastened. size approx 14x14x14 cm. Stay clear unless you like claustrophobic hallways with muggy or moldy smell, dirty carpet stains, worn down wallpaper and general old smell, look and appearance. Would never return to this hotel.

Nous avons séjourné à l’Hotel Castello à Venise et nous avons été très déçus par la chambre qui nous a été attribuée. La chambre ne correspondait absolument pas aux photos présentées sur le site internet. Elle était ancienne, très datée, avec un mobilier usé et une décoration qui mériterait clairement d’être rénovée. La salle de bain était également vieillissante, peu accueillante et aurait besoin d’un sérieux rafraîchissement. Autre point particulièrement désagréable : la présence de nombreux moustiques dans la chambre… en plein mois de février. Nous ne nous attendions vraiment pas à cela à cette période de l’année, et cela a fortement perturbé notre sommeil. L’emplacement de l’hôtel est certes pratique, mais cela ne compense pas l’état de la chambre. Une rénovation et une mise en conformité avec les photos en ligne seraient vraiment nécessaires pour justifier le prix payé. Nous espérons que des améliorations seront apportées.

O hotel é proximo aos principais pontos turísticos, mas no quarto que ficamos a "cama de casal" era duas camas de solteiro que não tinham a mesma altura o que fez com que a estadia fosse desconfortável. O banheiro era limpo, mas a banheira não funcionava.
