I truly enjoyed my experience and would definitely return. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional service and comfort.

Really nice room on the center of Sienne. Easy access to everything. Unfortunately, the air conditioning didn't work for the whole night and it was too hot. Hard to have a good night of sleep :(

Excellent location!

The hotel is modest but very charming and authentic. It feels like being part of the Sienese community—like staying in a private home. The hotel is located just two minutes from the Piazza del Campo, on one of the city’s main streets (Banchi di Sotto). Our room faced the street, which naturally puts you right in the thick of things—including two victory parades by the winning *Contrada* (district), complete with drumming troupes, in the middle of the night. We had expected a standard double room but found ourselves in a room with two double beds and a single bed—a bit unusual... The elevator was unique, too—worth the stay all on its own! It doesn't get any closer to authentic Italian daily life than this. Everything moves fast—almost hectically—yet without stress; it is lively, and every moment is savored. If you want to be close to the real Italian lifestyle—if that is exactly why you are visiting the Palio, wanting to immerse yourself in the mysteries of this ancient, living tradition and become part of it alongside the locals—then the Piccolo Etruria is the perfect place for you. If, however, you prefer a generic hotel atmosphere—prioritizing standardized amenities over individuality—you might be better off looking elsewhere. My wife and I were absolutely delighted; for me, the Piccolo Etruria embodies the warmth of the Sienese people, the mystique of the Palio, and the feeling of belonging to something greater—one big, extended family.

We love this place, it was a very nice hotel to spend the night with the family and explore the city.

Just a terrible hotel and location a long walk from parking. AC doesn’t work and no cups for water, no real towels for showers.

The hotel is in a great location. In walking distance for all sightseeing. We had a rental car, so parking was about 15 minutes away. You need to be careful about driving into a ZTL (traffic zones), which could result in a fine. (We did not realize this.) Hotel staff informed us of where to park and which streets to avoid the ZTL. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room did not work very well and it was very warm at night. Loved the area. Would stay here again.

En general todo bien, excelente ubicación

Air conditioning did not work. First, it won’t work if the key fob isn’t in (no electricity without the key in the wall) and it won’t work if a window is opened. So we turned it on and tried to sleep but it was so hot in the room we gave up. So we opened the windows. But people on the streets of Siena are loud. So didn’t get to sleep until 4. At 7, it was so loud again that we couldn’t sleep. So we reported the problem. Was told that opening the windows was a good solution. The air conditioner was clearly not serviced in years and couldn’t get air in due to clogged filters. So two sleepless nights.

Très bel emplacement. Mais Clim qui ne marche pas et chambre assez sommaire pour le prix. Personnel très sympathique cependant

Hola, estuvimos 2 noches, no servía el aire acondicionado y cuando solicitamos una solución, nos dijeron que no había nada que hacer, hasta 2 días después de que saliéramos. Nos ofrecieron un desayuno (buffet) variado y solo era pan, croissant, jamón y queso ( no opciones de proteína como huevo o más saludable como fruta) y precio 14€. Ubicación excelente, servicio y estado de la habitación mala.

Fantastic location in Siena and the staff was helpful with everything from extra pillows to arranging cab to train station. Like many hotels in Italy, the bed & shower were a little small, and you need to have an Italy power adapter vs EU.

Estremamente centrale e comoda per la visita della citta' la posizione dell'albergo. Spazio molto ridotto della stanza e del bagno (e' scomodo avere il bagno separato di notte anche se e' personale). Purtroppo le pareti sono molto sottile e si sentono in modo fastidioso i rumori prodotti dagli altri ospiti. Ci tornerei comunque

L'emplacement est plus que parfait au centre de Siena, par contre loin de la gare, 20minutes a pied, avec des valises c'est faisable même si pas facile sur les rues pavés. Hotel vieux sans confort ni petit déjeuner, l'ascenseur n' inspire pas du tout confiance ! Point positif une salle comum avec TV, une table, un canapé et des livres avec un joli balcon qui donne sur la rue piétonne. Si on cherche pas le luxe Ok pour une nuit de passage.

A very basic hotel with few amenities, but in a great location as it's just steps away from Siena's main square. Just minutes walking to all the main sites. I stayed for just two night and it was perfectly convenient. A bit noisy in the evening but quieted down at bedtime.
