갑작스런 숙박이었음에도 친절하고 편안한 곳이었습니다. 다시 묵을 의향이 있습니다^^

기요미즈데라(청수사)를 비롯한 여러 사찰들과 인접해 있어서 좋았습니다. 또 기욘의 전통 가옥들이 늘어선 거리에 자리하고 있어서 사진 찍기에도 너무 좋았어요.

가격과 서비스 모두 만족합니다. 위치도 좋습니다. 다음번에도 들를 의향 있습니다. 욕실도 매우 좋았습니다.

공중목욕실의 크기가 생각보다 좁고 샤워기걸이의 파손때문에 샤워를 할 때 불편했습니다. 아마 유카타가 아니였으면 평점이 와르르 무너졌을지도 모르겠네요. 버스에서 내려 숙소로 가는 길은 제가 원하던 일본의 거리였습니다. 가는 길이 이쁘더라구요.

친절한 응대가 맘에 들었음. 객실에 욕실이 없고 따로 온천을 이용해야 하는게 좀 불편했지만 전통적인 일본식 호텔을 느낄수 있어 좋았음.

전통 료칸은 아니고 개량 현대식 건물의 료칸이다. 객실은 깨끗했으나 이불에서 약간 냄새가 났고 층마다 있는 공용 욕실을 이용하는 단점이 있었으나 대욕장이 있었으므로 괜찮았다. 기온에서 아주 가까운 위치가 좋았으며 작은 천변을 끼고 있는 조용한 동네를 아침.저녁에 산책하는 것도 괜찮았다. 큰기대를 하지 않았던 아침식사가 생각보다 푸짐하고 맛있어서 깜짝 놀랬다. 카운터 직원도 매우 친절했으며 1층에 온천물은 아니지만 아담하고 깨끗한 대욕장이 있어서 나름 저렴한 가격에 기분을 낼 수 있다.

Great and welcoming staff, clean rooms, and awesome onsen and shower area. The futons on the floor were comfortable, could use slightly more padding tho but still slept very well. Overall I’d give this a 9.5/10. Also great location

Very comfortable ryokan, the futons were comfortable and the the rooms were clean. We stayed in wakanae room and had our own private bathroom and shower. Outside hotel was quiet and not busy and within 5-10 minute walk from downtown Kyoto. 1 block from a family mart and so many restaurants. Also with 5 minutes to shopping area in Gion district.

Would definitely return. My young children have enjoyed have enjoyed the onsen

Kind staffs, clean room. I wish there was a provate shower in the room.

Hotel is located within walking distance to all the attractions and train/bus stations. Rooms are spacious and unique. No personal showers in room. Only toilet and sink.

It was amazing! I had reached out to see if we could drop off our luggage before check in to store at the hotel (instead of at a coin locker) and they let us! It was really convenient, and they were very kind about letting us do so. We essentially checked in early (we didn’t go to the room though), and when we actually went to check in they let us know that they stored our luggage in our room so it was already there waiting for us. Overall amazing! The only downside (which really isn’t one) is that I am a side sleeper and find futons to be a little harder for me to sleep on, but honestly the futons were super comfortable and the person I traveled with (who is a back sleeper) slept amazing on it and didn’t even snore! The bath was so comfortable and warm it made the whole experience so much better! Would love to go back to the hotel again! We loved that the rooms all had names and they weren’t by number, it made everything feel more personal and fun.

This was a great stay in Kyoto. It was easy to walk to various landmarks from this location as well as a train station. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Love this place, great location

The ryokan property is in quiet side of Gion area and good enough to provide quick access to the tourist attractions in Gion and Higashiyama areas. The property has public hot bath facilities for gents and ladies in the lobby floor to use. The room is quite good and provide guest with traditional futon sleep and room with sliding door. The private shower and toilet are modern standard, so no need to worry on this issue. The only downside is the staff members don't communicate in English sufficiently, but they try their best to communicate using translation app / tool. I like the fact that they provide the kimono / yukata style sleeping gowns for guests in the room and bottled water to drink.

Everything was walking distance! The area felt safe and clean. Loved every second of it!
