호텔 트로이 나이로비

I traveled to Nairobi, where I was picked up by a staff from hotel. Stayed at the Troy hotel for two weeks. I had plenty of dishes to choose from. The staff checked on me to make sure I was comfortable. I was greeted going out and coming in. I was asked what would I like for breakfast the next morning. This experience was delightful being a single traveler. I recommend Troy hotel. It gave a family friendly atmosphere.

The receptionist, Lucy, overcharged us for the stay. Make sure you check your receipts before payments. Rooms are badly neglected, especially plumbing, with smelly toilets and blocked bathrooms. The garden and some staff were nice. If you are coming for a holiday I wouldn't recommend it. Not worth the price compared to the quality.

I was not going to write this since mistakes happen, but it kept getting worse. Our arrival(late night) was in a dusty room with an overflowing toilet. We were given another room, in which the shower was not working properly. Overal, maintenance of the rooms are neglected and we stopped talking to them about it. Breakast took almost 1hr and ordering dinner close to 2 hrs. The pool was never cleaned. Lastly, the receptionist, Lucy, decided to overcharge our stay by a lot of money. Had we not counterchecked receipts ourselves, she would have gotten away with it. The management was kind enough to refund us for one day, but I must express how disappointing our stay was, considering we spent so much at this premise. Pros: spacious garden, tasty dinner and other good staff.

It seemed like this place just opened and was not ready for guests, but they did not have power when I arrived, which was a big let down after traveling from the US for over a day. They also didn't have internet for a while, until they got power back and after I asked. Not a bad place, maybe it'll get better with time. The food and service was good!

We were so disappointed in the Hotel Troy, we left after one night. Many things were broken in my room, there were ants crawling all over the floor. The staff were very pleasant but way too few, so service was quite poor. Tea at breakfast the next morning took one hour to receive. I tried numerous times through emails and phone calls to speak with hotel management but still have not heard back from anyone regarding my concerns. I hope they'll do better! It's a pretty property.

The cottage room was nice and pretty, with a little common area with couches and a kitchenette. The double room on the other side, not so much. Very hard to sleep because of the dogs barking or wimping most of the night and very basic room. The place is sadly run down, garden might have been beautiful in the past but could use some maintenance and the dining room is cold and unfriendly. Food was not the best we had. Still a good option if you just want a room to sleep and don’t want to spend too much. This is also conveniently located next to the elephant orphanage, the giraffe center and Nairobi National Park.

The checkin process was disappointing as they couldn’t find my reservation for a while. Internet is very spotty. Staff are friendly but everything else was mediocre.

This came recommended to me by a new acquaintance. Highly recommend for an out of the way, tucked in a wooded area to truly relax away from the city center. Near the national park, BOMAS, and regional Wilson Airport. Great service. Internet is intermittent, but manageable within the main reception/restaurant area and rooms above. Very clean!

The stay was great and the staff were very friendly. We had a nice relaxing day round the pool. The cottage was spacious and the setting was beautiful in the shade of the trees

The hotel was good.

It is like a disco, loud noise day and night. I chose the hotel because it is secluded and promised to be quiet, but the opposite is true.

Homely as usual. A few good changes all around. Food was fantastic. Staff were very friendly.

Hotel Troy is in a convenient location near Galleria Mall and Nairobi National Park. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, although their service in the restaurant was very slow and inattentive. Rooms were clean and comfortable and it was clear that they aim to please their customers. We enjoyed our stay and if in the area will definitely stay again.

Die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft aller Mitarbeiter des Hotels war ungewöhnlich und hat diesen Kurzurlaub bereichert. Das reichhaltige Frühstück mit Omelette nach Wahl, knusprigen Baconstücken, frischem Gemüse und reichhaltigem Buffet machte ein Mittagessen überflüssig. Die Zimmer im Cottage sind groß, sauber und haben eine Küchenzeile mit Kühlschrank, Microwelle, Wasserkocher usw. Tägliche Reinigung mit frischen Handtüchern. Wunderbarer Park. Sehr ruhige Lage. Warmwasserversorgung durch Solar. Kleiner Pool mit gut bestückter Bar. Unser Chauffeur Jackson war stets ansprechbar und hat uns gut beraten und nicht nur die Touristenziele gezeigt. Das einzige Negative war die immer noch katastrophale Zufahrt mit tiefen Schlaglöchern, die schön längst hätten repariert sein sollen

Trevligt hotell, men slitet och lite otillgängligt att komma fram till (extremt dålig väg fram till hotellet). Mysiga bungalows men dåligt med ytor att lägga saker på.

Et utmerket hotell med veldig hyggelig personale. Hotellet ligger supert til om du skal besøke Nairobi nasjonalpark og andre severdigheter men en kan fort begynne å tenke litt om du kommer til hotellet etter mørkets frembrudd da det ligger noen hundre meter fra hovedveien på en skikkelig skogsvei. Hotellet er noe slitt. Det er god mat og et fint bassengområde. Vi kommer definitivt tilbake hit neste gang vi skal til Nairobi.

It’s very lush and pretty. The food was excellent.
