The staff was kind and the hotel room was clean, so I was so happy. Cooking class was really fun, too. The restaurant staff were very kind, but the meal was generally not delicious.

직원들이 친절하고 서비스가 좋았다. 다만 호텔스닷컴측의 전상상 오류로 나도 모르게 이 호텔 예약이 되어있어서 이용했고 심지어는 이중예약이 되는바람에 2배의 금액을 물어서 당황했었다. 나중에 메일을 주고받으며 이중예약건은 해결했지만 며칠동안이나 휴식할 시간에 메일보내고 확인하느라 비싼돈주고 호텔에서 뭐하는짓인가 싶었다. 정원에 욕조와 쇼파가 있는 가든을 예약했는데 모기가 정말 많았다. 침실에 모기가 많다고 지나가면서 무심코 말하고 점심을 먹고 들어왔더니 어떤조치를 했는지 모기들이 죽어있었다. 잘때 모기장을 쳐서 물리진않았으나 정원문을 열면 모기들이 신나게 방안으로 들어왔다.1월31일에 묵었는데 수영장은 추웠다.

Room is lovely the estate is rich in heritage. Services is top notch.

The staff are outstanding

This was overall a disappointing experience. From the check-in at 1:15 pm (normal check in time 2 pm), "sorry your room is not ready" whereas the hotel is loaded at 30% (low season) to the overpriced food, mini bar spa... We are not in Europe aren't we. The hotel is getting old decently maintained but aging... Last but not least the wifi was not working smoothly at all. Unacceptable at this price tag. I was happy to leave.

We stayed four nights in this gem of a hotel. We were in a pool villa but also made good use of the main pool. Everything is being taken care of by the most awesome and friendly staff. They literally know the names of all guests. Not only the manager but everyone who spoke with us knew our names. Pretty remarkable. There are cute little bunnies running around in the beautiful gardens and the restaurant is the best in Luang Prabang. I cannot recommend this place enough. It is simply fantastic.

This was easily one of the most luxurious resorts I’ve ever stayed in. It is the previous French Governors mansion that was converted to 20+ room resort with bunnies and other fauna roaming the grounds. The rooms were right out of an Indochina romance with private gardens and an outdoor soaking tub. The stone tiles were pleasant on the feet

Beautiful buildings in a great location. Easy to walk into town or take a tuktuk. The staff are lovely and the room was fabulous.

Do not expect much from this hotel or you will be disappointed. Rooms are very dark. Do not look at the details, everything is of poor quality.

Great hotel some of the tours were really good sunset cruise dinner and lunch near the waterfall a must.

one of the best hotels in LP with excellent staff. Very convenient transportation to the downtown every night (to the sister property). The rooms comfort, breakfasts, staff attitude one of the best I have ever seen.

Wonderful wonderful hotel. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly or accommodating. Food was amazing as was the spa. They have friendly little rabbits running around the gardens. Pools was lovely. Would love to stay here again.

Both my son and I had a fantastic stay here, the staff is absolutely amazing in every way. This is by far my favorite hotel in SE Asia. I highly recommend everything including the spa to sophisticated travelers.

Un séjour avec un personnel aux petits soins dans un cadre magnifique. Les attentions de tout le staff ont rendu le séjour inoubliable. Générosité et nourriture délicieuse pour le petit déjeuner et le goûter.

Hôtel qui ne vaut pas son prix. L’hotel fait facturer le prix d’un 5 étoiles loin d’être un 5 étoiles. Je me suis faite avoir par la note de l’hôtel. Une fois sur place je me suis rendue compte qu’il ne vaut pas plus d’un 3 étoiles.. Quelques problèmes avec la climatisation qui nous a fait refaire les bagages et changer de chambre le soir avec un bébé. Ne vous attendez pas à un buffet au petit déjeuner il s’agit seulement de pancakes qui s’effrite et de petits morceaux de gaufres assez secs. Quand nous avons décider de ne pas prendre de petit déjeuner ils sont arrivés avec des croissants mais c’était trop tard nous avions décider de petit déjeuner dehors Dans l’ensemble le personnel est très gentil mais le prix de l’hôtel pour ce qu’il est fait fuir. Vraiment un prix très élevé pour un hôtel qui ne vaut pas son prix. Ayant fais le pull man (les seuls 5etoiles dans la ville ) il est nettement meilleurs (petit déjeuner complet et varié, très belle chambre moderne et propre)

It is truly an oasis of calm and comfort in the busy Luang Prabang. It is a 20-minute walk to the downtown.
