여름에 덥고 겨울엔 같습니다 버스터미널 올드타운서 가까운것은 좋지만 에어컨이 없는방이있어요 ㅡ ㅡ 꼭 에어컨있는 방으로 달라고하세요 그리고 어떤 여자리셉션은 방에 에어컨없다고 했는데 너무 더워서 밤에 가보니 10유로내고 방바꿔줬어요 ㅡ ㅡ ㅋ 낡은느낌이지만 며칠지내긴 무리없었구요 5층이나 4층 이런데 주면 절대가지마세요 그대신 레스토랑이나 이런데는 너무 친절했습니다 포터도 너무 감사했어요

객실 청결, 샤워 성능 굿, 프론트의 성실하고 밝은 응대, 아침뷔페 최고, 시외버스 터미널과 시장이 근접 거리에 있어 이동성에 문제가 없었음. 가격 대비 최고.

When I and my parents tried to do check-in, one of the staff told me that "there is overbooking so we are not able to stay at the room we booked at the first night". Because of that, the staff offered vouchers so that we could have meal at their restaurant. And then she said that we could stay at the room we have booked at the second night. Since my parents are old I didn't want them to move their luggage so I asked about this and she said if we pack the luggage and leave them in our room they will move them to the new rooms. After staying one night, we walked around the town and got back to the hotel, expecting the new rooms were ready. However, one of the staff (different staff from the day before) told us there was no room to move so we had to stay at the same room. She knew that I had received the vouchers but didn't know that there would be room change. After I told her about the story, her face looked like I was trying to get something more from the hotel. Anyway she offered another voucher but I refused it since we needed better bedrooms, not free meals (the beds in standard single/double room are not good-sagging mattress). If anyone encounters a similar situation as mine, you have to ask written note or document from the staff that guarantees your room.

We arrived in Riga late evening by bus. The hotel is right across the street. At first it was a little hard to find the entrance because I was looking for "SemaraH" but the sign only said "Metropole". You can easily walk to the old town or the park. Breakfast including salmon was the best among the 4 hotels of my trip.

Had a great time at the Metropole . First location is excellent, near the transport options and near the old part of the city. Staff, great . Got in early , which after a big trip was very appreciated. Room was great, space and a window that opened. Even some programs in English. Great clean bathroom. Breakfast was very good. And the decor of the hotel was lovely. But our stay was made special by Laura who provided us with impeccable service every morning. She is friendly, kind, very bright and works extremely hard. Probably the best member of staff we encountered on our whole holiday. Thank you to her and the rest of the team.

Very professional and kind check in clerks! Breakfast was good but not as good like our last year visit!

Lovely hotel. We had a room facing the road with the trans but did not find this to be an issue at all. Ear plugs are provided if you are a light sleeper. Staff were very kind from the reception staff to the breakfast staff. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Venligt personale og god morgenmad

Wat mij opviel was dat - in het weekend - de receptie vaak niet bemand was. Iedereen kon zo maar het hotel binnen en buiten gaan. Er was vrije toegang tot de lift en trappenhal en letterlijk iedereen kon in het hotel vrij rondlopen. Dit gaf geen groot veiligheidsgevoel!

Perfektes Hotel für einen Kurztrip am Rande der Altstadt. Kurze Wege, freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück, allerdings wenig abwechslungsreich. Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe unterwegs. Leider bekamen die Mitarbeitenden die technischen Probleme eine Klimaanlage in 5 Tagen nicht beseitigt und es wurde auch kein Alternativzimmer zur Verfügung gestellt. Preis/Leistung sind absolut okay. Leider ist das Restaurant war tagsüber häufig zu, so dass es für Gruppen nicht möglich ist, sich zusammen zu setzen. Allein die Plätze vorne im Foyer sind nutzbar. Aber dennoch, ein sehr zu empfehlendes Restaurant für einen Kurztrip eine ien wirlich interessante Stadt!

Very friendly, very helpful staff. The bed was comfortable , we slept well. Good selection of food at breakfast . Heated towel rail in bathroom very good shower over bath. Soap, shampoo and conditioner provided . Good air con. The bar was closed on Sunday and Monday evening. The trams lines were adjacent to the hotel noisy if window open. Ear plugs were provided .

Sentralt hotell med kort avstand til togstasjon, kjøpesenter, marked og gamlebyen. Hyggelig ansatte som var serviceinnstilte. Frokosten var enkel, men mimosa i helgen var en fin touch.

Brilliant for location. Very near for local attractions and transport. Trams buses and trains within easy reach to go places. Awesome breakfast. Only downside was the sofa bed wasnt very good for our son, very uncomfortable. Really lovely staff.
