구가지에서 상당히 먼 곳. 그러나 저렴한 가격에 이만한 곳도 쉽지 않을 곳임. 조식은 다양하고 좋았음. 3박하며 조식시각이 8시부터인데 마지막 날은 버스 출발이 9시라 미리 이야기하니 7시 40분에 미리 먹을 수 있도록 배려해줌

Room clean,staff very helpful

Yes there were shops nearby the accessibility was good but the room was pretty old condition and flush was not working. The heater was very weak and didn't provide heating

The property is crying for maintenance...it is not only outdated, but also heavy out used.

I'm on an '8 country tour' (yes, say it to the Gilligan's Island theme). When asked what I was most looking forward to, I said Latvia and Lithuania as they were both former Soviet bloc nations. I came from a rather swanky hotel to Viktorija Hotel. Swanky was 4 star, Viktorija 3. I guess there's a scale. I've seen other reviews, and some people were pretty hard on the place. When I arrived, I did not have a good exchange with the brunette at the front. I believe Latvian culture is quite different though, plus, there was a communication error on my part, so I'll take the brunt of that. I obtained my physical key on a wooden knob as big as a child's fist and went to my room. The hallway IS oddly dark. The room is roomy! The furniture, VERY basic, like American dorm room style. The bathroom, a butterscotchy one cm tile all around. Seemed very Soviet era. The TV, snowy. I had to laugh after swanky just because of the contrast of the two worlds. But in reality, this is what I wanted. Viktorija is just keeping it Riga real. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was hot, location - plenty of walkability. TV and refrigerator unplugged. Why? they don't like vampire devices. Me neither! (Google it) They actually won my heart with this. Then I thought the dark hallway was for energy conservation. (Won my heart part ll). Would this be my choice for my 7 stays, perhaps not. For this one, I had good time. I will defend Viktorija Hotel in this moment. Now you know what to expect.

Very friendly staff. Very clean! The rooms need renovation, especially bathrooms. If your room looking to the street, it is very noisy. Location is good, close to main train station 20 min walk.

Das hotel ist extrem in die Jahre gekommen und alles sieht stark abgenutzt aus. Das Bett war auch durchgelegen oder viel zu weich.

Sijainti on kätevä, keskellä kaupungin sykettä. Edullinen majapaikka, jos ei kaipaa mitään luksusta. Kahdelle majoittujalle annettiin vain yksi avain.

Nettes Hotel, abseits vom Party Trubel, alles ist leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen, man sieht einiges von der Stadt, in der Nähe sind nette Cafés und Lokale. Preiswert und gute Lage

First thing I noticed when I got in the room was the state of the bed. It was the noisiest bed I have ever sat or lay on. It was also lob sided. I felt like I might fall off if I wasn't careful. The next thing was the shower room. So small that you could only stand at the side of the sink. The shower doors didn't close or and there was an awful smell which seemed to be present in the morning. No food on offer at all. No facility to make a drink in the room. Very poor. I would not be using it if I were to go back. Transport links in the area are good however. Busses run frequently.

Hôtel situé du centre-ville à 20 minutes à pied de la vieille ville mais proche des transports en commun (bus, tram). Chambre et salle de bain spacieuses, propres. Literie confortable. Un regret, la chaleur dans la chambre car pas de climatisation. À noter : personnel accueillant et très professionnelle.
