As announced by Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Tourism Tax is imposed starting 1 January 2023 for all hotel guests that are non-Malaysian or non-permanent Residents of Malaysia. Please expect that hotel will collect the Tourism Tax from you during check-in at the hotel. The Tourism Tax rate is 10 RM per room per night.

Following the announcement by the Malaysian Government on the Movement Control Order (MCO), Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas would like to inform all guests that the resort will be operating with limited services until Tuesday, January 26, 2021. During this period we will only be able to welcome essential business travellers who can provide a police authorized travel permit along with a valid employee letter for all check-ins. Please note that there may be a possibility of the restriction period being extended upon further direction from the authorities. Any changes to our operational policy will be communicated accordingly. We sincerely thank you for your continued support and send everyone our best wishes in the meantime. Please stay safe, take care and we look forward to see you soon!
Child supplement charges for each room will be collect for children aged 4 to 11 years old at MYR212nett per child per night upon check in. Additionally, please be informed that the maximum occupancy for our guestroom is 2 adults, 1 child (4-11 years old) and 1 infant (0-3 years old) only on existing bedding. EXTRA PERSON & CHILD POLICY Adults (12 years and above): MYR 424nett per person per night (this option is available for villa and residence bookings only) Child (4 – 11 years old): MYR212nett per person per night Child (3 years old and below): Sharing the same bed with parents, stay for free Maximum Occupancy: The maximum occupancy for our guestroom is 2 adults, 1 child (4-11 years old) and 1 infant (0-3 years old) only. Our guestrooms are designed that we are unable to accommodate 3 adults or add any extra roll away bed for third person.

The sink was cloaked the entire time when we arrived and despite multiple calls, no one came to fix it or rather, no one informed us that this can't be fixed. The shower temperature is inconsistent and turns hot and cold in seconds so it 's very hard to shower my little girl without her constantly screaming it 's hot or cold. There 's a bee in the room which I called to ask for assistance and again, no one came to help. It 's definitely not worth the steep price I paid for.

Very nice and customer centric place. Nicely greeted by hotel staff during check in and was served towels and refreshing drink. Waiting area for check in has a really nice view! There are also a list of complimentary activities provided by the hotel. Love the direct beach access as well! Food is great and breakfast spread was decent! Highly recommended for short getaways!

It 's beyond our expectation! Thank you for the great hospitality. We had a pleasant stay in Anantara. My kids enjoyed the pool, kids club & the beach! Good breakfast spread, spacious room & awesome view. We received complimentary tix to Desaru Coast Waterpark too. The staffs were helpful & friendly. Surely will come back!

Good place to bring the kids to. There is kid 's club where the kids can play while waiting for the sun to set before heading to the beach. Check in is a bit disappointing. Only managed to get the room after 4PM. Not much option for food after-hours, only room dine in is available. So be prepared to stock up some snacks in case your stomach is growling at the wee hours.

This is such a beautiful resort! We stayed in the deluxe sea view room and it was a very good size and came with a spacious balcony too. Service was excellent! Would return and highly recommend. A few areas I thought could be better: 1. Food OK but not great. 2. Poor internet-especially at balcony/bathroom. 3. Small gap, the size of a small iPhone, at the bottom of balcony window, is something parents want to keep their kids away from.

We had a fantastic stay! Security is tight at guardhouse which I really appreciate. We're invited to sit at sofa by the pool with welcome drink and cool towel. Check in process is was done by the friendly staff at the poolside. We booked 2 rooms and both room condition are great. Love the big balcony with beautiful sea view. The bathroom is big and detailed in terms of user experience. Breakfast buffet spread is great, fresh and delicious. Not to forget beautiful sunrise on the second day of our stay. Overall a relaxing and comfortable stay experience.

the check in was great, helpful staff named hazami help us a lot the rooms are fabulous.. the deluxe room sea view quite big for 2 breakfast got many choices the staff from check in to check out was excellent the beach is nearby but the waves bit dangerous to children for sure will come back here

First time stay at Anantara brand hotel, not sure is there any different class of service, maybe if you looked rich then you can get a better service? Hmmm, first and last time. Hotel is great, but service not up to my expectation.
