Campbell House

고풍스럽고 아름다운 인테리어가 돋보이는 호텔에서 묵을 수 있어서 매우 좋았습니다. 친절한 직원들에게 다양한 정보를 얻을 수 있었으며 주요 관광지에서 멀지 않은 곳에 위치하여 여러모로 편리하였습니다.

작은 호텔이라 스탭들이 매우 친절합니다. 식당이나 택시 잡는 것등 매번 잘 안내해줍니다. 그리고 늦은 오후 비행장으로 떠나는데 낮에 관광하고 땀흘리고 돌아오니 이미 체크아웃한 상태인데도 빈 객실의 샤워장을 빌려주어 샤워도 하고 옷도 갈아입을 수 있게 해주어서 너무 감사했답니다. 다만 청소상태는 약간 문제가 있고 바로 길거리라 소음도 있습니다.

지금까지 묵어본 호텔중에서 최고의 서비스라고 말하 수 있다. 특급호텔처럼 형식적인 친절이 아닌, 오랜 친구를 맞이하는것 같은 친근한 설명. 호텔에 들어서게 되면 데스크 메니저 Kumar가 호텔과 일정에 맞는 주변관광지를 자세히 설명해 주고, 체크아웃 할때의 픽업서비스까지 자동으로 잡아준다. 단점은 객실바닥이 계단처럼 층져 있어 걸려 넘어질 수도 있다. 그리고 천정등이 없어 실내가 어둡다.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to visitors of Georgetown. It is a charming and quaint hotel. It is in a great location and the hotel staff are beyond gracious and hospitable. The morning breakfast was also delicious. My only one (small) heads up is to avoid using their 3rd party laundry service. I was not pleased with things in that sense. Otherwise, it was great experience!

Fantastic and helpful staff

Staff are helpful and friendly and close to the attraction. Lots of restaurant is nearby. Something can be improved, the WIFI some sometimes is not working when in the room and no USB plugin on the bedside. The experience is excellent and the breakfast at the restaurant is delicious

Excellent location, a charming hotel with a real sense of history to it. Nice touch to have little treats left in the room each night. Breakfast tasted lovely but choosing more options from the menu would be nice. Plus this took quite a while. This was the only downside

老房子改裝的旅宿，地點好，知名景點走路能到，旁邊還有知名餐館。服務好，免費迎賓飲料，每天冰箱內提供兩壺飲品和冰水，無限量續壺，在這炎熱的城市真是太棒了。每天還提供午後甜品，太貼心了。

L'hôtel est très bien situé dans la ville. Il s'agit un petit hôtel de deux étages tres bien restauré. L'accueil est excellent. Le petit dej est tres bon.

We picked Campbell House for it's location and weren't disappointed as it is a short walk from the likes of Love Lane with a great selection of bars and restaurants. Had a great time exploring the local area, spotting all the wall art/murals. Also really convenient for using Grab to get a taxi to Penang Hill and Kek Lok See temple. The rooms are stylish and comfortable (we were in the Loft, a duplex room) and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Added bonus having a fantastic, authentic Italian restaurant on-site which is where you have breakfast. So good we ate there twice in the evening over the course of our 4 night stay. Highly recommend if you want to be in the midst of Georgetown

Our stay at Campbell House was wonderful, and we couldn't recommend this hotel more highly. The whole team were amazing at their roles, but Kumar was a star, making us feel immediately welcome and also recommending great sights and eateries for us. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and immerses guests in history whilst keeping all modern amenities. The daily desserts and welcome beverages were an especially appreciated touch. We really appreciated the no shoes policy, as it helped us to feel comfortable and assured us that the rooms were clean and well cared for. We also appreciated how seamlessly the hotel managed with Penang authority water maintenance works - we had everything we needed and didn't deal with any disturbances. We look forward to visiting again, and have already recommended the hotel to friends and family.

We had a wonderful time staying at Campbell House. We felt incredibly welcome, the rooms were clean and well kept and the hotel kept so much of its heritage and charm. The staff were wonderful, the terrace was lovely and the on-site restaurant is break. If we are back in Georgetown, we will definitely come back here!

Everything about this hotel was just right. Excellent service, attention to detail, great location and charming building.

The good: the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast, the overall ambiance and condition (beautiful restoration of the building), free cake every day was a lovely touch. The less good: standard room is smaller than expected and lacks charm (bed is also only a small double), wooden floors look good but are very slippery (you have to take off your shoes downstairs) and the rugs on top slide so much as to be dangerous. The bad: we were clearly unlucky, but our air conditioning would not get cold, an attempt to fix it managed only a slight improvement, sleeping so badly in the heat left us groggy every morning and unable to enjoy the breakfast. Lovely staff tried to help, but it was out of their control. Such a shame.

Idéalement situé dans les rues d'intérêt pour les touristes, ce superbe hôtel dans une maison chinoise est parfaitement tenu. L'accueil est plus que sympathique avec beaucoup de conseils et d'attentions, notre chambre était vaste, très bien équipée et les petits déjeuners sont très variés, pour tous les goûts. Les bons avis sont tous complètement justifiés.

A delightful stay in the heart of old town. Each room is a unique individual creation with vintage furnishings. The breakfast is amazing and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Everyday the chef creates a special desert and delivers it to each of the twelve boutique rooms. A must stay if you are going to Georgetown, Malaysia.
