Clean room. Quiet setting. Overlooking the playa. Not suitable for guests with limited mobility because of the long stairs going up and down the hill to get to the playa. 10minute walk to the playas.

Spectacular location and views

The staff really made this place an easy 5 stars. The manager Sylvia was kind and informative and the breakfasts were phenomenal. The property is a bit of a hike but the view was truly unforgettable. The property is well looked after and the pool was beautiful. The rooms were clean and comfy. We hope to return one day...asap!

Second time at Casa KalMar, we love it. Really like the location removed from the town, although the stairs can be a bit tough in the middle of the hot day. Lovely pool, and love the breakfast.

Casa Kal Mar is amazing. You arrive and walk out to the infinity pool and unobstructed 180 degree views of the ocean and the beaches and town below. We loved Casa Kal Mar. We spent a lot of our time there. We could lounge around, or go down to the beaches and the towns in the area, and come back to our little Casa Kal Mar retreat and soak in the pool or lounge around. Very laid back perfect home base. We LOVED IT! We can't wait to come back! And the staff were all very nice and helpful!

There are not enough superlatives to describe Casa Kalmar. The property is beautiful. The view is divine. The breakfast is plentiful: fruit yogurt and granola to start then fresh cooked hot food. The staff will do anything for you. We had the top floor room that was spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend. The cats and dog were good company. It was perfect. As seasoned world travellers this place is now in our top five best accommodations list. Don't think twice it's all right.

Absolutely stellar place. Breathtaking views and very accommodating. A bit of a walk from the main part of town, but would still highly recommend.

The place has amazing staff, the view is spectacular. We had the perfect two weeks of vacation.

Casa Kel Mar is an excellent place to stay, we rented the top floor and it was amazing. Beautiful ocean views, beautiful sunrise and also beautiful sunset all from the top deck. Staff is amazing and always helpful. You can walk to town in about 15 minutes, just be prepared to walk up over 200 steps! Worth it!

My stay in Casa KalMar was amazing. The stuff was always helpful and very nice. We good delicious breakfast every morning and whenever we need something else, they were very nice and gave us what we needed. I recommend Casa KalMar specifically if you want to stay in a quiet place and enjoy the weather and beach. Private beach and the views from the hotel were stunning. Thank you Casa KalMar.

The homemade hot breakfasts were incredible. All the staff are very accommodating. Delia is a doll! The pool is beautiful. The room was cool even though it was very hot and humid when we were there. We appreciated the glass in the windows after we stayed at a couple of other places with just shutters. Delia is a doll!

Excelente vista y personal amable

Loved our stay at Casa KalMar, the view is incredible! The breakfast was delicious, the host and staff are nice and helpful. The room we had was smaller than what i anticipates but overall it was good. The AC works great! There is not a TV but you might not need it with the sea view from your room doorstep. My only concern was all the little bugs that somehow get inside the room. However you are in a jungle environment so highly recommended bug spray. Thank you Silvia for hosting us! we enjoyed our stay and loved the free roaming kittens and dog.
