This is a wonderful old-timey place to stay because, aside from being in a classic San Cristobal location, it is a small anthropology museum and community arts center. In my four nights there I was serenaded by a pianist and a community singing group in the small chapel. My room had a fine mattress, was quiet, and the bathroom was completely up to date.

Clean, quiet, comfortable. I’ll stay at this hotel again!

Todo muy bien

Muy tranquilo y un ambiente agradable. Tienen un jardín al cual tienes acceso. El museo que hace una exposición sobre todo de los lacandones incluyendo fotografías muy antiguas. Me volvería a hospedar.

Estuvo buena la estancia, al principio yna habitación estuvo mas o menos pero nos cambiaron

Lugar magico

Be aware that this is a museum that has rooms to rent, not a luxury hotel. That said, if you’re looking for a contemplative stay in a beautiful room surrounded by artifacts, this is your hotel. Wonderful staff, good restaurant, coffee house in a garden across the street. Did I mention the incredibly helpful staff? A nice walk 30 minutes to the town center. Can’t wait to return.

Es un bonito lugar para dormir 🛌 nada más con el detalle que la habitación en la que me hospedé no contaba con TV 📺 , es un lugar acogedor, el joven de la recepción se portó muy servicial, muy atento y respetuoso, volvería a hospedarme sin duda alguna

I love the historical aspect of the place. Good stuff very helpful. Did not like that such remarkable building had been graffitied on the outside

Perfect to rest

I liked the quietness, awesome library and museum. They lock the door around 10 pm. I had breakfast there twice. It was ok but missing stuff (fruit) I could not use my laptop with their internet. The wifi for the cell ph was ok. Lights are left on on the hallway and I just had to find them n turn them off because I couldn’t sleep the first night. Taxis are easy to catch in that area. Distance to market are ok if you can walk. I preferred taxis for 50 pesos to take me to markets and main corridor. Staff were nice. Vendors were ok too. Women artisans set up their goods on the patio. I will stay here again.

En este lugar se realizan encuentros académicos. Poder tener un cuarto de hospedaje en el mismo lugar del evento a que asistí es excelente.

It is a special treat to stay at Na Bolom. It is really a cultural centre / museum with a few rooms that are available.

Excelente lugar aunque su fachada no sea su mejor presentación, es excelente, tiene historia, arte, tradición, encantados de descubrir ese lugar

Beautiful, well preserved colonial building full of history and culture. Beautiful gardens and fantastic staff. We have loved every minute.

Uno de los hoteles con más encanto de los que me he alojado. Aparte de bonito, tiene mucha historia y apoya a la comunidad.

Love staying here. It feels like you are going back in time a bit, but with all the comfort needed. There is so much history and adventure expressed in this, what was once the home of an adventurous couple. Staff are super friendly and accommodating.

I loved the fireplace in the room that came stocked with firewood and kindling. It lit with one match.
