Our experience was terrible. We were scammed by the hotel staff. We made a boat tour reservation through the hotel concierge on the first day of our trip, which was supposed to include fishing, snorkeling, and whale watching. We paid $600 for the tour. However, all we got was a fishing trip on an old boat. We got soaked by the waves because the roof of the boat was broken, and there were no life vests for the kids. The concierge had said the license fee was included, but we had to pay $75 each as a license fee when we arrived at the marina. The crew on the boat didn't even know about the snorkeling and whale watching; there were no gears for that at all. Although the crew was nice, we couldn't tip them because we had to pay the unexpected license fee. It felt so bad.The concierge said he would refund part of our purchase, but he didn't respond. When I called from a different number, he answered, saying he was on a business trip and would refund us soon, but that was a lie. Eventually, I filed a dispute with my credit card company and won. By the way, the room was not clean. I found some hairs and a contact lens on the floor. The breakfast was nice. This was my first trip to Mexico, and this experience severely tarnished reputation of Mexico.

I love my stay in Teroso and will stay again if I come back to Cabo! nice staff and nice food( but the tour they suggested at the lobby was so expensive..)

I’m giving this hotel 2 stars based on the fact that the location is misleading with its shuttle services.. When booking the reservation it says that the hotel has 24hr shuttle services. That information is wrong in two ways. The shuttle only runs 2 times a day per the check in clerks, and only by buying a voucher for 22 dollars! Once we asked 6 airport employees, we finally got ahold of the hotel(their number doesn’t work), they told us we couldn’t buy the voucher anymore. Very very inconvenient having to take an Uber for 79 dollars. Both ways on arrival and departure from the hotel. Other than that the hotel was very nice, location was ideal. Pool was great. Service was great. Structurally the hotel could use some serious upgrades, cracks in the roof, tile had mold in the shower, shower caddy fell mid shower onto my foot. Just small upgrades that could make a big difference in a stay for the inflated prices tourists pay. Just some things to take into consideration before committing to stay here. Definitely will not be booking here again..

Didn’t eat there

We did not have breakfast so it is unfair to rate it. Great view of the marina, nice pool area ( we did not use just visited on our delayed flight stay). We will say that this will be the last time we stay at this hotel. The facility and staff we fine, however, the room was so loud that it felt like we were in the middle of the hallway listening to the music, constant police sirens, and partying/ yelling until after 2am. I had to get up and see why it was so loud. I did notice that there was a little window in the bathroom that only closed from the exterior hallway, I went out in the hall at 2am to try to close it. It helped with the noise but did not alleviate it. I put a pillow over my ears from that point. We had to rise early to catch a plane and only caught a few minutes of sleep off and on, We were in our room at 9pm and could not sleep just got winks from 3am-6am. If you like to party until 2am or 3am then this resort is for you. It was not for us.

This is definitely my number one in Cabos San Lucas definitely coming back here.

The room was clean and staff courteous. We have stayed previously and felt the hotel could use a refresh and the buffet was not as good as last time.

Only a select few rooms have marina views. I paid for such a view but was given a room that overlooked the town. Then it rained and the bathroom ceiling leaked making it unusable. Room changed middle of the night and the new room had a clogged sink. The staff was friendly and helpful. The decor, furniture and general look and feel is dated. For example in both rooms a couple of cabinet doors wanted to stay open and one of the drawers didn’t want to close.

Tesoro was better than ever, and I’ve been staying there every year for over 20 years

In the past, with all inclusive, you'd have beer in the fridge and two, one liter bottles of water in the room restocked each day. Not any more. The two restaurants food is just so so and you can't leave tips on your signed bill. The hotel seems more run down and not well kept as in the past. I won't be staying there again.
