Me gusta mucho quédame ahí, es la segunda vez. Les pedí un detalle para el cumpleaños de mi novio y fueron muy lindos en dejarme globos en la habitación. Lo único que tal vez podría poner algún pero es sobre la televisión y su ubicación pero por otro lado tmb pienso que se va a disfrutar de la playa . Fueron muy atentos conmigo y con todas las preguntas que hice . Desayunamos en el restaurante y muy rico . Nos tocó reparación de una parte del hotel pero aún así lo disfrutamos mucho . Camina aprox 20 min al centro y muy cerca de punta mosquito.

We were staying on the island but wanted to try a different part of the island to be able to walk the sandbar early one morning so we booked one night here so we could not have to take a taxi at 6am. The place has potential because of the location but it is severely worn down. Pools dirty, cockroaches in the room, rooftop area in really bad shape. We were scared to eat anything there so we visited Las Hamacas next door for dinner and lunch. The only bright spot is the location which the beach is beautiful and the young man doing drink service was really nice

This hotel has a lot of potential, but unfortunately it feels like it's running on borrowed time. The biggest disappointment was the front desk experience. The curly-haired woman at reception was neither friendly nor helpful and didn't seem interested in providing good customer service. On the other hand, Héctor, one of the waiters, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and genuinely pleasant. He was easily the highlight of the staff. The property advertises that it's being "renovated," but during our entire week-long stay, we didn't see a single person working. Meanwhile, several of the pools weren't even usable because they were run down and looked dirty. It made the resort feel neglected rather than under renovation. The food was another letdown. Not only was it mediocre, but the prices were outrageous. Paying 360 pesos for a tiny plate of chicken chilaquiles is hard to justify, especially considering the quality. On the positive side, the air conditioning in the rooms worked great, which was appreciated in the heat. I also loved seeing the iguanas wandering around the property, and the raccoons at night were a fun surprise. The hotel was inexpensive, so I guess you get what you pay for. But unless they invest in a major renovation—not just advertise one—I don't see how this property remains competitive much longer. It's a shame because the location and grounds could make it a really special place.

We love location, one of the most beautiful places on the island. The sunset is amazing from the hotel 🏝️the guys on the bar. William and Hector are very hard workers very kind 💕also Laura and Johana on the front office very nice and helpful definitely we are coming back 😀

First time I stayed here was 2 years ago was nice so booked there again this time around. But since the last time I stayed here looks like there has been no up keep and eveything looks run down. Bar in the rooftop bar was shut down and there was junk all around the area up there. Water in pool was not clean was really disappointed in my stay. The staff was nice tho

very hospitable. great location with simple accomodations.. wonderful location...pools are a bit run down but they are making improvements! would return for a true island vibe

Las instalaciones son peligrosas y el trato del personal no es el mejor salvo un chico muy atento que era nuevo en el hotel ojalá lo cuiden

It's a nice location with a beautiful beach, but away from the centro like 20 min walking. If you want more quiet location is perfect. My room had everything, stuff was helpful. The only issue for me was the noise. I think they were doing some little repairs here and there, moving new seifs at night, drilling something. Also you gonna hear every chair movement on the next floor if it's a cleaning in the morning or guests. That kind of ruined my sleep unfortunately. Be aware that there might be gecones, cucarachas sneaking into your room. I even saw snakes in the territory. Rooftop was dirty like no one cleaned it for a long time, there was no service which is ashame because view is beautiful. Has hot water, cleaning, restaurant only till 3pm, wifi was slow but i managed to watch netflix.

El hotel está en remodelación y no tiene nada que ver con las fotos publicadas. El gerente tiene una pésima actitud, mi esposo se cayó en uno de los pasillos del hotel porque se les ocurrió encerar la madera y no pusieron ningún señalamiento y el gerente fue cero empático, pero el resto del personal muy bien, sobre todo el mesero William. De cualquier forma Holbox es un paraíso y estos detalles no arruinaron nuestra estancia.

Estuve del 26 al 29 de abril 2026 Mala experiencia salía muy poca agua uno de los cuartos que tenía reservado se reventó él tuvo del agua y nos tuvieron que cambiar de cuarto y perdimos un viaje a conocer las islas la alberca de arriba no servía tenía el agua verde

Villas Tiburon ist definitiv kein Luxushotel – und das sollte man auch nicht erwarten. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, hat drei Sterne und dafür passt der Preis absolut. Wenn man mit dieser Erwartung anreist, wird man positiv überrascht. Die Lage ist schlichtweg perfekt. Man ist etwas weiter von der Stadt entfernt, liegt aber direkt an dem mit Abstand schönsten Strandabschnitt in der gesamten Hotelzone von Holbox. Und das meine ich wirklich so: Ich habe mir alle Strandabschnitte angesehen und keinen schöneren gefunden. Der Strand hier ist ein absoluter Traum und vergleichsweise wenigs Sargassum. Die Zimmer sind etwas dunkel, man muss tagsüber meist das Licht eingeschaltet lassen, weil man sonst nicht besonders gut sieht. Auch das Bad, vor allem die Dusche, ist schon etwas älter. Aber ganz ehrlich: Für den Preis und die Kategorie kann man auch nichts anderes erwarten – und das ist vollkommen okay. Was dieses Hotel wirklich besonders macht, ist das Personal. Unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Der Rooftop-Pool ist wunderschön und ein echtes Highlight. Auch das Essen im Hotel, vor allem in der Rooftop Bar, war hervorragend. Das Ceviche war einfach richtig, richtig gut – frisch vor meinen Augen zubereitet. Service und Sauberkeit waren top. Die Putzfrauen haben das Zimmer jeden Tag perfekt sauber gemacht, absolut einwandfrei.

Todo excelente , gran atención de el Personal. Solo fallas en el agua de la ducha , el agua con poca presión y el agua caliente va y viene

Clean room, friendly staff, great location! We had problem with water pressure and temperature in our shower.
