This riad was absolutely excellent. Aziz was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
We travelled with two children and, as it was our first time in Morocco, we didn’t quite know what to expect. In the end, our concerns were completely unfounded. The room was spacious, with two single beds and one queen-sized bed. This wasn’t entirely clear from the description, but it worked perfectly for our needs.
The breakfast was simple but very good, and more than enough to keep us going through the first part of the day. We also arranged an airport transfer through the riad, and the driver was waiting for us in the arrivals area, which made everything very easy.
The location is ideal—within walking distance of the medina, yet far enough from the busiest areas to enjoy some peace and quiet. There is some noise coming from the road outside but it did not bother us much and kids slept well. The room was clean and comfortable throughout our stay.
I would definitely recommend this riad and hope to return in the future.

Our driver dropped us off in the middle of a sketchy are an and said “here you are, bye!” We have only stayed in hotels over our traveling years, ever. As we walked to the Riad, there was even a man who went up to my wife and touched her. I felt so on guard and I knocked his hand away and was on defcon 3 paranoia. Once we found where we were going, a man came out and showed us where we were staying. I walked into …. Paradise. The man, whose name is Aziz, took us into the Riad and welcomed us. This man is the most calm and charismatic person in the world. He could tell I was defensive and even his aura just made me much calmer. He brought us to our room and said we could talk about passports and money later. He was so laid back! The room was AMAZING!!! I’ve never been to a Riad and now I will specifically look for them from now on! We loved every moment we were there! Once we got settled I was 20 durhams light (we don’t carry cash, especially locally) and he paid for it himself. We had been dropped off at the wrong entrance and it was like being dropped off behind a restaurant- of course it’s not the same as the front. He even made me a map! I found some USD the next day and gave it to the front desk girl and she had the same peaceful energy he did. She is in the picture with us. Please stay at this WONDERFUL AND MAGICAL place! 20 stars! A life changing experience from the room, the breakfast, the people and the feng shui setup. Thank you!!!!!

Breakfast was only served from 8:30 am-10:30am, so I didn’t get a chance to eat breakfast everyday, because my tours were booked and pick up time was 8 am. Rooms were clean although they were small, wifi was available. Close to Kasbah you can walk, but it’s not safe in the night if you’re alone.

Das Riad Ajebel ist ein sehr schönes authentisches Riad.
Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit Bad und allem was man braucht.
Das Zimmer war sauber und wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilft bei allen Fragen weiter. Jeden Morgen gab es ein leckeres marokkanisches Frühstück 😋.
Da es ein kleines Riad ist, ist es dort sehr familiär, was uns gut gefallen hat.
Anke und Aziz heißen ihre Gäste sehr herzlich willkommen. Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder hier buchen 😎👍.

Our stay at this riad was overall just okay, but there are a few things I really wish I had known before booking.
The biggest issue was that guests are required to leave their room key at the front desk every time they go out. Staff is supposed to let you back in, but on multiple occasions we were left waiting outside for 20–30 minutes at night because they were asleep. As a group of three women in our 20s, this felt uncomfortable and honestly a bit scary—especially since the walk through the Medina to reach the riad is already quite dark and isolated. We were usually just coming back from dinner or shopping at the market, so it wasn’t unusually late.
The breakfast was also underwhelming. Nothing terrible, but not memorable.
Another thing to note: cigarette smoke is noticeable. It’s the first thing we smelled when entering, and as non-smokers it wasn’t the most pleasant welcome. We adjusted, but it’s something to consider if you’re sensitive to smoke.
On the positive side, the staff was friendly enough, and the rooms were cleaned daily and kept tidy.
Overall, the experience was fine—but because of the late-night access issue, I would personally look at other options next time.

パリの空港から飛行機に乗る間際(マラケシュ空港到着3時間前くらい)に予約したのに、直ちに、空港からホテルまでの有料送迎必要かどうかなど、ホテルから連絡が来て、飛行機に乗ってドアが閉まるまでの間に、送迎をお願いするためにメッセージを送り、きちんと到着地で迎えがあり、良かったです。旧市街の外側に面してるのでタクシーから降りてすぐでスーツケースを石畳の上を引きずらなくて良いし、旧市街地の中心地からは離れてるが、散策にはちょうど良い距離で、楽しめました。値段もリーズナブルで、初めてマラケシュに行く友人に是非勧めたいです！

The staff was amazing. Any request I made was fulfilled. Breakfast was delicious. The host actually took me on his motorcycle the first night to obtain the local currency, treated me to tea and assisted me with any directions I needed. I would highly recommend them.
