The stairs are narrow and steep, so be careful when carrying your luggage. It seems quiet, but you can often hear the luggage of people checking in and out hitting the stairs. The doors are tight, but they are stiff and require strength to open and close. Other than that, all the front desk services are excellent.

5층방 이용. 엘레베이터없다는걸 몰라 가서 당황함. 오래된건물의 좁은계단을 여행가방과 오르내리는건 매우어려움. 더블침대두개있는방이었는데 여행가방을 펼칠수없음. 드라이기 화장지 등이없고 카펫바닥이 매우 더러운데 슬리퍼가없어 맨발로 다녀야함. 위치는 매우좋으나 가격이 제공하는방 컨디션에 비해 너무비쌈 3박 4일에 세금포함 약 150만원 지불함. 위치 시설을 고려햏을때 1박 30만원 이하여야 적당함.

Not much faciliates

암스테르담 어디든 20분이면 갈 수 있는 위치여서 뚜벅이 여행이 가능합니다. 다만 역에서부터 홍등가를 지나지 않으면 숙소에 도착할 수가 없는 위치입니다. 엘베없고 계단은 좁고 가팔라서 캐리어 챙기느라 실수로 다른짐 떨어뜨리면 정말 끝까지 데굴데굴데굴 굴러가 박살납니다. 조심하세요ㅠㅠ 에어컨이 없고 화장실 샤워기는 벽에 붙어있어 뗄 수가 없습니다. 첫날에는 수건 두 개씩 주시더니 마지막 날엔 하나 주시더라구요. 옆 방에서 소리가 웅얼웅얼 들리고 귀를 기울이면 알아들을 수도 있어요. 주변 시계탑에서 15분마다 종을 칩니다. 밤에는 안 쳐서 무던한 사람이면 그리 신경쓰이지않을 수 있습니다. 그래도 주변 숙소보다는 싸서 그냥저냥 묶었습니다.

5층의 17번 싱글룸, 15번 더블룸을 이용했습니다. 싱글룸의 경우 1. 청결 : 옷걸이에 먼지가 많아 직접 청소했습니다. 화장실 변기에 전 사람의 용변이 그대로 묻어있었습니다. 카페트가 더러웠습니다. 방 청소는 아침에 따로 요구해야합니다. 2. 사생활 보호 : 화장실에 문이 없고, 창문에 커텐이 없어, 제가 화장실을 이용하는 모습이 건너편 건물에서 그대로 보였습니다. 3. 전기 : 콘센트가 눈 높이에 2개 있는데, 그중 하나는 고장이었습니다. 멀티탭을 요구했지만, 구비되어있지 않아 겨우 먼지 투성이의 멀티탭을 하나 받아 사용했습니다. 이러한 이유로 방 교체를 요구했고, 총 6박중 2박은 상태가 좀더 좋은 더블룸을 이용했습니다. 더블룸은 싱글룸에 비해 사용할 만 했지만, 그 가격에 이 정도 컨디션의 방은 당치 않다고 생각합니다. 밑에 영어로도 작성했듯이 직원은 친절합니다. 다만, 문제 해결 능력이 좀 부족하지만 방 업그레이드를 받았으니 여기까지만 작성하겠습니다. 암스테르담의 경우, 도시가 작아 대중교통으로 금방 갈 수 있으니 위치 때문에 여기를 고민하신다면 다른 곳을 추천드립니다. I recommend 'Luis' as a employee of the month. He is very kind and considerate. At thd beginning, i don't like the room assigned to me. Because there is only 1 electric outlet can be used and no door on washroom. So i asked to him change my room or fix electricity problem. He do his best. In the first day, he couldn't change my room but gave me a power strip. So i can use that. And the fifth day in hotel, when he have a empty room, he even change my room for free! I am very grateful, and thanks to this friendly staff, I have good memories of Amsterdam. And also there is a staff named cristian, he a humorous person, so when i met him i always laugh. If you want hotel with friendly staff, it is the place.

리프트가 없어서 캐리어 큰거 가져가실거면 와안전 비추! 계단이 폭도 좁고 가파릅니다. 방도 좁은 편이구요. 저는 기내용 캐리어만 가져가서 괜찮았습니다. 그거 빼면 방도 깨끗하고 좋았어요. 방음은 좀 부실한 편이긴 했는데 뭐 양호했습니다. 조식은 신청 안해서 모르겠고 싱글룸이라 다행이긴 했는데 화장실엨ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ문이 없어욬ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ그래서 샤워하는데 찬 바람이 들어와서 추웠습니다.... 그리고 잠깐 현지 친구가 방에 들렀었는데 화장실 사용하기 좀 네.... 이거 빼면 리셉션 직원분들도 친절하고 좋았습니다.

Lovely big room Clean Quiet

i felt it was a fire hazard having multiple extension leads joined together, limited staff availability, no food or drink allowed in rooms but downstairs locked so unable to eat there and we couldn’t keep eating in cafes or restaurants as most didn’t cater for allergies. One part of the room was really dirty. There is no lift and the stairs are very narrow and winding. Do not book if you have mobility concerns. The room was freezing. Toilet roll wasn’t replenished during the stay. It was extremely noisy, being near the church tower that has a bell ringing every 15 minutes until about midnight, and other guests were noisy throughout the night when there was no staff to deal with the noise. (I didn’t want to ring the out of hours emergency number just because of noise). There was no plug in the bath so the only option was a shower and the shower head wouldn’t stay in place at the required angle so the water mostly ran down the wall. The only positive was the bed was very comfortable. Be aware of hidden extra charges as well. We left two days early as couldn’t cope with the noise and how cold it was. We didn’t sleep at all.

Perfekt läge och trevlig personal. Lite jobbigt med trappor eftersom vi bodde högst upp. Närhet till stan och restauranger och miljön runt om är verkligen Amsterdam. Betala gärna med kontakter då man erbjuds lite rabatt.

Camera singola non pulita con bagno senza divisorio dal resto della camera. Letto scomodo e cuscino imbarazzante. Mi sono stati addebitati circa 20 euro in più per due notti perché l'hotel ha detto che non hanno convenzione con Hotel.com e loro hanno prezzi diversi (?????). Sono stato invitato a contattare il sito. No comment!

A bit old and shabby but clean and in a great location.

Dirty room, mold on the windows and curtains, stained duvet and nothing like the photo as advertised. There was only one tiny window that we could open to let some fresh air in. The room was damp, stuffy and grim. Avoid

Great location! Bed was really comfortable and the room was clean.

Not sure what all the bad press was about for this hotel. My girlfriend and I stayed in room 14 for 4 nights and it was lovely! After reading some reviews before arriving, we were hesitant, but honestly the hotel was exactly what we needed. It was clean, the staff were polite and the room was perfect just to sleep in while we explore the area. Would highly recommend!

The location of the hotel was great! Everything was within walking distance. The rooms felt very cozy too. However upon checking in was the first time when I discovered that i had to pay a €100 deposit, which would’ve been helpful to know prior the check in.

Disgusting hotel, bedding was stained and dirty. Toilet leaked throughout our stay, room was dirty. 1st stay in 2024 was amazing but returning to this hotel 2026 was so disappointing the room was in such an awful state. Unfortunately after this experience we would not return. We have no idea how it has declined so drastically!!

The location is the saving grace for this property. It’s walking distance from everything. The hotel itself is fairly dated but great for the price and location. If you’re expecting a 5 star hotel experience, I would look elsewhere. If you simply need a singular place to sleep and keep your belongings. This is the spot for you.
