This is an amazing property perfect for a travelling family. Many lovely extra touches including heated blankets, toys, and a full kitchen. It feels like you have just stepped into the Shire complete with a very friendly host.

This lodge was so good to enjoy rural area's beautiful view and MS.Shona and her husband were so kind. I needed to find a good hotel which is close to hobbit village and that was why I choose this lodge. It was so nice to have this kind of experince.

This lodge was so good to enjoy rural area's beautiful view and MS.Shona and her husband were so kind. I needed to find a good hotel which is close to hobbit village and that was why I choose this lodge. It was so nice to have this kind of experince.

The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming - and we were even able to check in early. The place is in a nice quiet spot on a farm just a 15 minute drive from Hobbiton. Perfect location to stay if visiting there.

Thank you for being great hosts. We arrived a little after hour and was accommodated and given a small tour of the apartment. The property was clean and large with views overlooking the pasture and farmland. It was always nice and quiet. Appreciate the breakfast items prepared although we did not get to fully utilize it.
