Hotel Estrella

Definitely my choice of hotel the next time I spend another staycation in Tacloban. No mosquitos and unidentified flying insects inside my room as compared to my first choice of hotel through traveloka. Complete with bath towels, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, slippers, coffee, bottled water, cable TV, wifi, buffet breakfast, very accommodating receptionist. Very well informed! Kudos to the lady receptionist! Very patient answering all my queries since it was my first time in Tacloban. The hotel location is very near the Sto. Nino church, just a walking distance also to Mcdonalds Real branch. Robinsons Marasbaras branch is a ride away through multicab with signage Robinsons. No taxis in Tacloban, options are just tricycle, jeepneys/multicabs/small buses. The hotel also allowed me to extend an hour more free of charge. Beyond that the hotel will charge guest Php500 for a day's extension. Just a suggestion is to add danggit to their buffet choices of food because it is a province so native delicacies such as danggit is a very nice inclusion. Thank you so much for the accommodation.

Highly recommended Hotel at Tacloban City.

Delicious breakfast! But it takes time for the toilet bowl to flush.

We loved the breakfast buffet. Although, it was a bit annoying that the reception keeps on calling starting 11am to remind us of our check-out time. I mean, we already know that. But all in all, the room was nice and clean, same with the restroom.

Only thing lacking is the hot shower.

Surely will stay again. We like it.

The hotel staff are very courteous and polite. The room is great. Buffet breakfast is good. Will stay there again.

The staff was accommodating, even the manager was superb in customer service, the place was nice, along with the foods :).

Staff was very accommodating and my father did not have a hard time checking in. The food though, he said, was quite expensive for the quality/taste. But everything else was great. He was happy with the stay.

It was great. The staff allowed me to early check-in at 9:40am; comfy and spacious room for 3pax; clean bathroom; buffet breakfast; accommodating staff. Thumbs up!

Breakfast buffet with limited food. Room was not cleaned when we arrived, there were used plastic bottles on the table drawer and bad smell on the hallway. Good place to stay if you just want to sleep after a whole day of tour in the city.

When I arrived the telephone was not working and toilet was obviously not cleaned I had to call them to clean the toilet and fix the phone.

The FO was so accommodating with my request. Kudos!

Everything was great but the room assigned to us is facing the highway and noise can be heard from vehicles.

Perfect place to stay in Tacloban City.
