Karuna El Nido Villas

Karuna is exactly as described. They provided transport for our small children & pregnant mother from our apartment to the restaurant because the units are on a cliff. Prepare to do a lot of steps. But it is worth it. The views are spectacular. Staff are very accommodating. Food & drinks are excellent. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful views.

Lovely hotel about 8 minutes via tricycle from El Nido town centre. Beautiful view from the restaurant, pool and the balconies from the rooms. The beds are extremely comfortable with really soft linen and our bathroom was huge with a lovely big bath tub and a fabulous balcony (Julong 2). The hotel is built on a very steep hill, so if you have bad knees or mobility issues this wouldn't be suitable at all. There are a few restaurants locally that are definitely worth going to, as El Nido town centre itself is very busy. We took a private boat tour (Tour A) that was organised by the hotel that was fabulous and highly recommended. The restaurant serves a good selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and happy hour runs from 4pm - 6pm by the pool. The staff are lovely and the sunloungers are comfortable, although there aren't too many of them. There is some building work going on at the moment so do enquire about this when booking, as it isn't due to finish until March 2025. Overall a really lovey boutique hotel.

Our room was nice and cosy, although not very convenient with only 1 storage cabinet for a family of 4. The view is outstanding. The staff was polite and helpful, although with limited resources. The hotel sits on a cliff side, so it's not very easy to access all the rooms by foot, there is a shuttle service. Internet is unpredictable, we did not have a decent signal for most of our stay, which includes no TV either, since all the channels are through internet. The restaurant has good food, but many items on the menu were not available during our stay. The rooms are not serviced daily, we had to ask for house keeping. Let's keep in mind that the area is not well developed, so we understand the struggle to keep up with modern tourism expectations. It is overall a good place to stay in the El Nido area, with downsides to consider as well.

We loved the view, the pool, happy hour cocktails and the food by the pool! The hourly drives to and from town, service and the daily cleans were greatly appreciated. The bath, shower and hammock outside with the view was a lovely surprise!! Yes there is a hill, but for the lower studios (where our apartment was) it wasn’t an issue for us. Although we loved the restaurant food during the day, breakfast could have been better (pancakes were great if you like them) and it was quite noisy relaxing by the pool due to construction of the new deck by the pool (hopefully it’s over soon!)

The Staff is amazing. The room we had was incredible. The view is the best you will find in El Nido. The restaurant is great also. It’s on the hill side so there are some uphill walking involved but they also offer vans to take you into town at a really great price. And they pick you up whenever you ask just WhatsApp them. They couldn’t be happier with my stay here. Will be back.

這是個令人驚喜的飯店，服務非常非常的好，只有一個缺點是在山坡上，但完全不用擔心這個問題因為飯店有每天的接送可以到街上，但也是因為在山坡上才有非常美麗的景色！我對這裡的景色完全無法忘記，非常美好❤️我超喜歡這個地方，下次還會再來的，每個服務人員都非常的好，很親切，謝謝這個飯店為我們帶來很美好的回憶❤️

非日常的な宿泊体験でした。 部屋、レストランからはエルニドの海を一望することができます。 部屋がきれいに掃除されて、ご飯も美味しかったです。 スタッフ全員優しかったです。

Beautiful views of el nido and great spacious studio with kitchenette and indoor and outdoor dining area. Nicely decorated, definitely a great place to stay in El Nido.

Staff were so helpful, friendly and welcoming. Entrance to the property could look more appealing.

Everything about our stay was absolutely exceptional and exceeded our expectations. The staff was amazing and couldn’t have been more helpful. They went above and beyond anything we would have ever imagined to make our stay enjoyable and incredibly memorable. They were very flexible and extremely friendly. They had very great recommendations and were very familiar with the town and the tours. The view was breathtaking, one of a kind. It was incredibly relaxing with the bathtub and rainfall outdoor shower. The resort was very clean and easy to access all of the amenities. The room was absolutely stunning. The resort was built with every detail in mind and was an incredible value. I would recommend this resort to anyone with family or just wanting a romantic getaway. The food was amazing and the pool was picture perfect. They were willing to accommodate our special diet, and their customer service was over the top. Offered a private secluded vacation with the convenience of town and all of the amenities. The value is absolutely amazing, you will never regret staying here. We are already planning our trip for next year.

Gorgeous views!

Amazing view from the top, great service and staff! The A frame loft (lumbung 2) was perfect for the 4 of us. It is one of the newer units. Wifi, netflix, transportation service, food, in room massage ... just fantastic! It does require a bit of effort to walk uphill. Good for cardio but may be a negative for some. Also , hand rails could be installed in certain areas to prevent accidental falls.

The villas are wonderful, spacious, and well decorated. The pool and restaurant are great with awesome views. Resort is located at the top of the hills and there's an ongoing road construction, but as long as you coordinate your arrival, they'll pick you up from the main road. Great stay overall.

Best place to stay at El Nido!! Staff was helpful attentive. Transportation shuttle was very flexible. Housekeeping made sure our villa was clean and pool was clean as well. Restaurant has so many options it was hard to go eat at other places outside the resort.

The area is very good. Very well maintained and i like the bath tub with an amazing view of el nido town

Karuna has the most majestic views! It is perched on the side of the mountain. We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff are very attentive and helpful. They are very quick to assist with excursions and ride to town. They have an infinity pool that has a great view and a restaurant next to it. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Shower is outdoor overlooking the water. Inactive seniors, disabled and families with small children need caution because of uphill terrain and stairs. We didn’t have any issues as those situations didn’t apply to us. Special thank you to Ellen for all your help coordinating our rides and giving us information about the resort.
