very basic giving them a 3 star is too much. Not even a kettle in the room for tea. terrible smell from the sewers

It was in a great location and a beautiful surrounding! The place has everything you need, although it's not the flashiest. Good for a simple night in a beautiful garden. The breakfast was decent, although again just the basics.

They cancelled our prepaid reservation that had been made 3 months in advance and confirmed three days, by email,before check in. Unpon arrival, suddenly there was no room for us. We were sent to the VIP hotel across town which was on a huge roundabout. We found out later it was also owned by Casa Do Jardim. Then because our room wasn’t ready we were told to come back later to check in. When we returned for check in , we were informed our reservation at the VIP hotel had also been canceled and now there were no rooms there either. Who does that? Our room was prepaid and no information was coming about where our money was or how to get a refund. Just - we can’t help you. Fortunately a senior staff overheard us as we complained uselessly to the staff at front desk and she took pity on us and gave us a room. We still had to pay again out of our own pocket but at least we weren’t stranded. How many people book the lovely, more expensive, boutique hotel in the botanical garden and are told they had been over booked upon arrival, and sent to the run down mega VIP hotel in a huge traffic circle? I bet lots. I call scam.

El hotel en un ambiente idílico y tranquilo.....el personal del hotel muy atento y agradable. Sin duda repetiría hotel.

Giardino veramente splendido, camera piuttosto vecchia e con rumori per lo scricchiolio dei pavimenti al passaggio degli ospiti del piano di sopra. Colazione discreta, anche se una maggiore varietà fra un giorno e l'altro non guasterebbe. Personale molto gentile.

Unique and almost personal view of the nearby island, ILHEU, especially from the seating area in the roofed portico overlooking the ocean.

Awful hotel. No WiFi on rooms, only by front desk. No air conditioning or even Fans. Their ad shows a pool, however guests MAY NOT access it. We left and paid for another hotel it was THAT BAD. Rude staff as well

It is a nice hotel - the reception is open all the day. As it is situated in the middle of a garden you can walk though it whenever you want. The breakfast is good.

Hôtel agréable et bien situé dans la ville. Il est extrêmement appréciable de pouvoir profiter du jardin au calme après la fermeture!

+ Hotel dentro de um parque florestal, muito bonito + Quartos são dentro de uma mansão senhorial bonita + Limpeza muito boa + Simpatia de funcionários - Pequeno almoço fraco e repetitivo - Mobiliario e colchão do quarto a precisar de reforma - Piscina grande... que não pode ser usada pelos hospedes... apenas pelo patrão e familia - Entrada á noite complicada se formos a pé...... de carro não há problema - Internet muito fraca nos quartos

De dame aan het onthaal was heel vriendelijk, het was net of we bij vrienden aankwamen. De ligging van de casa in die tuin is met geen woorden te beschrijven . Zo mooi, zo uniek, s morgens opstaan en in deze schitterende , perfect onderhouden tuin een wandeling maken. De geuren van de tuin en het gekwetter van de vele vogeltjes rondom je is een heel mooie ervaring. Dikke pluim voor het voltallige personeel die wat betreft vriendelijkheid uitblinkt.

Like living in the country while being in the city. Close to everything. Staff was very helpful. Had a nice last day in Delgada.

The accommodations are ok. Breakfast very convenient to be included. Not a huge variety but enough . Too bad it's a bit away from the center of the city.. The walkway out of the hotel is all cobblestones, but they are very uneven and anyone with a problem walking will definitely have a problem. Cockroaches are a problem, and they are the large large ones.
