Lovely resort. Room was large and quiet. Excellent blackout curtains. Great water pressure and temperature. Breakfast was SO GOOD. No complaints. Loved the access to the trails along the water through the back of the property. Would definitely stay again.

Cascade Wellness Resort was a major disappointment and nowhere near what I would consider a true high-end resort experience. The property feels outdated and overpriced. Once there, you are essentially trapped paying extremely high prices for brunch and dinner, yet the food quality and portions were surprisingly low-end and underwhelming. The service only added to the frustration. Staff were generally did little improve the experience perhaps since you are forced to pay the gratuity despite the actual service provided. Even basic expectations were missed — including the lack of accessible coffee options, which is hard to believe for a resort positioning itself as luxury. Overall, the value simply does not match the pricing or branding. There is no way this should be considered a luxury resort experience.

Superbe site très bien placé avec de belles structures . Simplement les appartements vieillissent et quelques éléments comme les transats sont en fin de vie! Sinon je recommande

Beautiful resort with incredible views and walking paths to explore the coastline. Highlights were the front desk staff & Roel. This team were so friendly and helpful to all guests. Thank you Roel! Lighthouse bar has great drinks, staff and menu options. Gastro Pub- great food! Spa pool- nice and quiet to relax after exploring this beautiful area.

We loved the facility. Well organised, clean good food and friendly staff. The price was also great. We enjoyed it.

Wir hatten ein ruhiges Zimmer mit Blick zum Garten. Die Einrichtung war ansprechend, das Bett bequem. Es gab eine große Terrasse mit Tisch, Stühlen und 2 Liegen. Unser Zimmer war oberhalb des SPA, so dass wir dorthin nur einen kurzen Weg hatten - dafür war der Weg zu Pool, Restaurant und Ausgang recht weit. Wir hätten uns weitere seitliche Ausgänge in das Gebäude gewünscht, die von Hotelgästen mit der Zimmerkarte genutzt werden können, wie wir das auch von anderen Hotels kennen. Die Mahlzeiten waren sehr gut: die Speisen beim Abend-Buffet von hochwertiger Qualität, ebenso beim Frühstücks-Buffet, wo es eine sehr große Auswahl gab. Einziger Kritikpunkt hier, dass die warmen Speisen auf dem Buffet nicht gut warm gehalten werden. Man kann aber auch Eierspeisen frisch zubereiten lassen. Der Service hier sehr gut, angenehm auch, dass jede gewünschte Kaffeevariante an den Tisch serviert wird. Da nur der SPA-Bereich nah bei unserem Zimmer war, hätten wir uns dort längere Öffnungszeiten für den Pool gewünscht. Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt beim SPA, dass Sauna und Dampfbad lt. Hotelseite nicht zur Verfügung standen. Alles in allem fanden wir das Hotel hochwertig und angenehm.

The breakfast buffet is spectacular. Was there with my three kids couple of them piggy eaters and everyone found something that they love for breakfast!

An excellent hotel and very comfortable apartments. The big problem is that we booked because of the Spa facilities but the steam room and jacuzzi were both out of order throughout our stay. We were eventually told that we could use these at another hotel a few km away but that was not what we needed. Also, our apartment had a number of issues that were resolved quickly by the hotel.

I’ll start by saying it may just be our North American standard of a 5 star to be impeccable in all areas but this hotel was not that. The staff were 5 star amazing and accommodating and helpful but otherwise this hotel would fall in a 3 star rating. Our first apartment was disappointing in that the shower had a spraying leak, the tub wouldn’t plug to bath our son, the toilet had a crack/leak, the safe didn’t work, the espresso machine didn’t work, the laundry did not work, you could not shower at night if the apartment above had just showered (we waited 2 hours and still no hot water for our baby), and lastly the ants were everywhere.. we found them in our sons crib. The staff were very helpful and fixed what they could but ultimately they couldn’t fix it all and told us they would move us in 24 hours which then did &we really appreciated it. Our next apartment was significantly better but the tub water came out brown so we had to shower our son, and the drain had to be fixed, we did not have a safe in the room but they did bring one, our kitchen had different items/no pans to make stove top but by this point we felt we had asked for too much and the staff was trying their best! The furniture was extremely worn and had stains which is fine but just not something you would expect for 5 stars. The amenities were good but again worn out. The deck around the spa pool was falling apart &the steam room was out of order. More of a maintenanceissue than anything. Great location

This hotel was one of the best I’ve ever stayed in! The location, facilities and staff were top notch. I would go back for sure!

Wonderful place to stay, proximate to some truly breathtaking beaches. The staff is incredibly accommodating. The only complaint I have is that the fixtures in the bathroom were a bit dated and worn.

Beautiful property with variety of accommodations.

Out of our 3 stays while in Portugal, this was our least favorite. The property is almost too big and they can't seem to keep up with the amount of work and reno needed to maintain a property of this size. It rained the 1st night we arrived and a water leak caused water to get into the electrical panel while we were sleeping and cut the power. When we woke in the morning and called the front desk they sent a technician and eneded up having to move us to another villa. The pics on the website make it look a lot nicer than it actually is. They also have no indoor pool or heated pool. They do allow kids to visit the spa pool from 8-10am but the pool guy is actually there at the same time, cleaning the pool and adding chemicals, which doesn't seem very safe!! And the "heated" pool wasn't even that warm. It was freezing! The food was mediocre at best. The burger was kind of mystery meat... The plus was the staff. They were all very nice and lovely. I wouldn't stay here again, though.

Breakfast buffet and service was excellent. Staff was very informative and helpful. The boardwalk behind the hotel is a gem.

Excellent séjour dans un lieu accueillant et bien situé. Les petits-déjeuners étaient délicieux et le buffet somptueux et varié. Nous avons fait de belles randonnées sur les sentiers balisés. Les passerelles nous ont permis d'atteindre des points de vue à couper le souffle sur les grottes et le littoral de l'océan. La magnifique piscine bordée de parasols et de chaises longues invitait à la farniente.

Wonderful breakfast! Super friendly staff! Increibly clean facility. The one bedroom apartment was a very, very pleasnt surprise. Spacious, spotless and the famous Algarve cliff trail out the back door. Absolute heVen! Ricardo and Mario were fantastic!

The staff was exceptional in every way and they made our stay such a great experience. I would recommend this property to anyone. The breakfast buffet was also something to look forward to each morning.
