Location, location, location! Booked Hotel Baia based on location reviews and yep, most definitely the best for Cascais if you want to be within walking distances of the beaches, restaurants and shopping! Rooms are a bit out dated and need a bit more attention to some cleaning, but we didn't spend much time in our room so it was not that bothersome. The breakfast included was FANTASTIC! Definitely not your standard continental breakfast, by North American standards any way! Covered indoor pool was ok for cloudier days, but be forewarned, it is not heated, so being there in April when it wasn't warm did not feel great! No other major concerns and would definitely stay again! Appreciated the underground parking but there is a charge. Not much and worth the stress of trying to find street parking if you are renting a car.

Ideal location. Excellent breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. This is a lovely hotel and our only problem was a very hard bed which they did try to improve with a topper which helped a bit.

Great location. Lovely staff. Fantastic roof terrace. Breakfast could be better - cooked options are limited and not great quality. Also air conditioner in room was ancient. Very noisy.

The balcony room looked out over the sea. The room was quiet v clean and comfortable

An ideal location from which to explore Cascais and a short walk to the station for trains into Lisbon

Great hotel with very good breakfast. We had the family room, which was comfortable enough for 4ppl. Very good breakfast selection, gorgeous view of the beach from rooftop/pool area. Easy walking distance to restaurants, beaches, tourist attractions, train station to Lisbon (scenic 35-40mins ride). Would definitely stay here again.

The room was very clean and was taken care of each day. Beds was comfortable. Staff were pleasant, spoke english and were very helpful. The Beach view was nice but further from the hotel than the photos show. The Bartender was Amazing along with all of his assistants, wish they could stay open longer!!

All excellent esp. reception team. Would stay again and recommend to others - just one warning to others planning a visit - the hotel location is on the front abc their is bar / people noise till early hours and then the street and bin cleaners start about 6am.

Rommet var helt topp med veranda ut mot sjøen. Hårføner kunne vært bedre, tok lang tid å føne håret. Frokosten var helt ok, savnet litt bedre brødutvalg. Ellers et topp hotell midt i sentrum

Lovely hotel centrally located to the beach, shops and restaurants. Hotel and rooms are updated with stunning views. Rooftop area was a great place to enjoy the sun and views with a drink or cool off in the indoor pool. Breakfast offered was amazing with so many options. My only negative is the room sizes but I think this is typical for Europe. We needed to 2 rooms for our family of 4. At night it could be loud but it wasn’t an issue really.

Guter Blick auf den Hafen, tolle Lage, Belem und Sintra gut erreichbar Schwimmbad war am ersten Tag nicht nutzbar wegen Reparatur, danach noch nicht sehr warm. Gutes Frühstück mit warmen Speisen.

My room was fantastic. Sea view. Plenty of space and super clean. I wasn’t too impressed with the staff or the hotel amenities. I called in 2 weeks before for early check in. They said it wasn’t a problem. I called when I landed and they said they couldn’t find my reservation. I spelled out my name phonetically twice and was referred back to my travel agency. Travel agency confirmed my room and said the person on the phone was misspelling it. Very frustrating. They need to have competent people answer the phone. I was then explained that they couldn’t check me in early. When I called in two weeks ago inquiring, they should’ve told me then and I would’ve booked another night ahead of time. I decided to change from my airplane clothes to vacation clothes when I arrived at the hotel. They didn’t have a proper bathroom for me to get ready in or freshen up. It’s a large staple of a hotel, they should offer something. All I had was a dark bathroom with no outlet. They need to be more accommodating as a hotel.
