Ist ein sehr schönes Hotel,mit sehr schöner Dachterrasse und Pool auf dem Dach. Beim Frühstück könnte etwas mehr Abwechslung sein und das nachstellen könnte besser sein aber ansonsten sehr angenehmes Hotel mit sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern

Very good room and helpful Staff. Good resturants only yards away. Breakfast is good,but not much to choose from. A bit difficult to find the hotel,så maybe a bigger sign ! Walking distance to the shopping distrikt.

Hôtel très bien situé au coeur du centre-ville, très bon déjeuner, confortable et très propre. À quelques minutes de l’aéroport. Le personnel du restaurant est très aimable. Nous le recommandons amplement.

The rooftop pool had amazing views of the city, stocked towels and plenty of loungers. The room was way bigger than expected, had two smart TVs, clean and a big private balcony where we could hear the street music. The buffet was fully stocked with fruits, veg, pastries AND even had crispy bacon. My son called it five stars. We all enjoyed our time here.

We left very early and a taxi was booked for us, very helpful. Lovely location, no shortage of restaurants in the area. Pretty view from the balcony

It was a beautiful location. Although it was an old building. It was updated recently. Beautiful architecture. Beautiful garden. Restaurants are nice. The only bad thing was Google maps did not have it exact on the maps and it took me awhile to find.

We had a great stay! Inis, the receptionist at night was so helpful and patiently answered all of our questions. The hotel is close to everything in a safe location. The breakfast was outstanding. The only issue was the rooftop pool was being cleaned when it was supposed to be open so we couldn’t take advantage of that amazing view.

The Hotel Talisman was a very good choice for my first night in Sao Miguel having taken a taxi from the airport. It is close to the centre of town and less than 5 minutes from where I picked up my hire car the next day. I didn't eat there that night as they only had a buffet for dinner. However breakfast was very good with a great deal of choice. The hotel is in a very old building with a quirky room layout but that only added to the charm of the place. I understand they have paid parking available but it wouldn't be my choice to stay with a car as the surrounding streets are very narrow.

We had a brief stay at this hotel en route to other destinations. The bed was comfortable and room spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was sufficient. Did not have time to use the pool or other amenities but wished we had.
The bathtub was too small to actually be used as a bath, but fine for showering.
Nice central location close to the airport. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Our room was so musty smelling, we couldn’t tolerate it. They moved us to a different room, which was smaller but worth downsizing to avoid the musty smell. The rooftop pool was wonderful. Great location.

We stayed one night in May 2026. We were welcomed warmly even though we arrived late at night due to a much delayed flight from Ponta Delgada. They upgraded us to a suite, which we were grateful for, after a long day of flying, and extended layovers in 4 airports, and getting lost while trying to find the hotel in the dark. The room was clean, and we enjoyed a peaceful night's rest and a standard complimentary breakfast the next morning.
