Lovely spacious clean room, wonderful spa and plentiful sunbeds.

We had a wonderful few nights at this hotel. Staff were amazing, especially the chap at the pool bar. This was a repeat visit for me and I'd have no hesitation in returning in future. Comfortable rooms, great service, incredible choice at breakfast and dinner and of course wonderful leisure facilities. Thank you for making our birthday celebration so special.

Das Doppelzimmer war schon sehr abgewohnt und hätte etwas sauberer sein können. Wellnessbereich war gut. Gute Auswahl beim Frühstück.

Superb hotel with lovely staff and great facilities

Zimmer war sauberund Aussenpool sehr schön, für den Verkehrslärm können sie nichts dafür. Ansonsten Zimmer sehr alt wie auch das Bad. Nicht wirklich was man von 4Sternen erwarten würde oder erwartet hat.

The view from my room was fabulous and so was the breakfast. The entertainment was very good also!

Vi är återkommande gäster och trivs väldigt bra. Rummen är stora och har sedan förra året ny bäddmadrass. Rent och snyggt, men valfri nivå på städning under vistelsen. Frukosten är väldigt bra, pool handduk ingår, och all personal är serviceinriktad och trevlig. Ligger högt, med promenadavstånd till centrum. Vi kommer tillbaka!

The Views Baia is an excellent hotel in every respect...beautifully decorated throughout, a gorgeous room with great, (in my case 'Mountain), views, scrupulously clean throughout, very well managed by friendly, efficient and trustworthy staff, from cleaners to management. The buffet breakfast is superb, and the facilities top notch, beautifully maintained, and available to all. The outdoor pool has food and drink services, clean and comfortable sun loungers, and is very well looked after. The gym and spa areas lovely, with a warm indoor pool, (complete with all sorts of fun bubbly bits and a jacuzzi), sauna, Turkish bath, showers and relaxation areas. The bar area is comfortable and relaxed, and has gentle music entertainment every evening, should you wish to meet up. There is a free shuttle bus to and from the promenade, (albeit that these are not frequent), and, although there are hills to negotiate, it's easy walking down hill into the centre of Funchal. If you don't want to walk there are many options for transport..Bolt, Uber, Taxi and bus. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough...it's lovely....thank you to all there who made my solo stay so relaxed.

Enjoyed our stay alot. Absolutely gorg views from the hotel. The restaurant serves really good food, the evening service is really recommended. Staff is doing a perfect job. Friendly, always being attentive and just makes you feel welcome. The rooms are the only thing that could be a bit updated. At first we got a room on the first floor, felt like a dungeon. We were able to change room the the third floor the second day. Def better, the view from the balcony was abs. fantastic. Although the walls and furniture could need some tlc as they had a lot of scrapes and felt a bit dated. Still so worth it though

Im ganzen war es sehr schön, es wirkt durch die Einrichtung was gedrückt(Farbverlauf) Personal war im Gastronomie Bereich super zuvorkommend. Danke nochmals. Das Hotel an sich liegt sehr zentral.

Grosszügiges Zimmer und grosse Auswahl beim Frühstück. Toller Ausblick auf die Stadt Funchal und das Meer. Das Stadtzentrum ist zur Fuss in ca. 15 Minuten gut erreichbar. Trotz zentraler Lage gibt es Parkplätze.

Did was relaxing but hot tub wasn’t hot and pool water wasn’t warm

Ein sehr schönes Hotel in guter Lage, die Aussicht beim Essen über die Bucht von Funchal war fantastisch ❤️

Clean room, with a good size and comfortable bed and shower. Excellent breakfast buffet and well close to all amenities.

Très bonnes prestations ,le spa très agréable.

Hotel confortable, bien placé pour aller en ville, proche de nombreux restaurants. Petite bouteille de vin offerte à l'arrivée. Petit déjeuner très varié, qui convient à tous les goûts et toutes les faims. Très beau spa, très agréable. Mini balcon. Notre chambre était au 5ème étage. Nous l'avons trouvé très bruyante (bruits de circulation). Après quelques jours nous avons fait revoir la fermeture de la porte du balcon. Cela a amélioré la situation sans toutefois aboutir au calme attendu. Bruits aussi dans le couloir lors de passages. Nous avons regretté l'absence de mouchoirs papier, et le non renouvellement de la bouteille d'eau. Pour un 4* c'est dommage.

Bon séjour au Views Baia hôtel: nous avons apprécié les chambres plutôt confortables, la vue, le petit déjeuner copieux et de qualité et surtout le Spa qui permet de se détendre après les randonnées … Cependant pour un 4* certains équipements manquent : mouchoirs jetables et accessoires de toilette notamment et l’entretien de la salle de bain pourrait être amélioré ( flexible de douche qui fuit réparé après 4 jours et 3 demandes)… Il est également dommage que le rooftop ne soit dédié qu’au restaurant étoilé : il eut été agréable d’en dédier une partie en bar …

Lovely atmosphere without any kids. The hotel was fully booked but didn't feel crowded. The deluxe room was worth it - lovely coffee from the coffee machine and a little bar/fridge & robes. The location was a short way uphill out of the town but in a nice area and not a long walk for anyone with reasonable fitness, There were plenty of buses. You could walk downhill to a bus stop and get off further uphill on the way back. There was also a hotel minibus into the town. We had a great stay!

We had a great stay at the The Views Baia. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We received a free upgrade to a deluxe room, which was very comfortable. The shower was very good. I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Extensive choice and continuously replenished. The indoor pool and spa were very enjoyable. Special thanks to the hotel for taking the trouble to post some items left in the room, back to the UK.
