객실에 커피포트 밑부분이 없다고 하니 화장실 온수 나온다고 대답한 프론트 여직원 / 저녁에 있는 여직원 정말 분친절 계단이 많은데 엘리베이터도 없고...다시는 가고싶지않은 호텔입니다.

저는 3월 초에 혼자서 더블룸에 묵었습니다. 가장 저렴한 방에 숙박한 점을 염두에 두고 읽어 주세요. 방이 지하방이었으며 60*40센치정도의 창문만 하나 있었습니다. 방에 있는 가구는 전체적으로 많이 오래된 느낌입니다. 만약 예약을 하신다면 지하방은 피하는 것을 추천합니다. 가격이 다른 동급 숙소에 비해 특별히 저렴하지 않았습니다. 또한 지하객실은 상상조차 하지 않았습니다. 이번 여행에서 불편하고 불안하게 숙박한 유일한 숙소였습니다. 이 호텔의 다른 객실은 보지 못했으니 감안하고 판단하세요.

Hotel staff allotted me room no:30 which is in 3rd floor and toilet bathroom were on 2nd floor. This was not mentioned at the time of booking. No room slippers were available so I have to wear my shoes for each and every time while using toilet and for bath. 50 pounds deposit was asked to pay. No telephone/ intercom in room and television was not working. Room was very small as compared to what I paid. Amenities zero - no room slippers, no television, no intercom, no refrigerator and no toothbrush.

Within walking distance to lots of shops and downtown.

You get what you pay for.

I was put in a ground floor attic. It meant that I kept getting disturbed by people using the garden. I asked staff to make them leave and eventually they did. Staff do not pick up the phone when you call reception.

Lijkt erop dat er al heel wat jaren achterstallig onderhoud is. Alles is hoognodig aan vervanging toe, daarentegen was het wel schoon maar een raam open doen kon eigenlijk niet, best vervelend als je net hier bent in een periode dat de temperatuur boven de 25 graden uit komt. Wij waren er twee nachten maar handdoeken en ook (oplos) koffie werden niet aangevuld, wellicht moet je daar om vragen maar dan kunnen ze dat beter even ergens aangeven.

Very nice property within walking distance to fun bars and shops. Three stories with stairs.

Excellent value for the price. Beds were comfortable, shower was nice good pressure and plenty of hot water. Would recommend.

The room and bathroom were both very clean, and I loved the kettle and offering of tea/coffee in the room. We stayed in one of the attic rooms so it was quite hot up there (I anticipated some warmth when booking). I would suggest they just put a tabletop electric fan in, as we bought small handheld fans that worked wonders. I would stay here again out of practicality, but for me it wasn’t a super enjoyable stay—the location is great, very quiet street, but just a few minutes walk from shops. I wasn’t a fan of the shower at all. The water wouldn’t drain, so even with as light water on as possible, a good pool of water would collect at the bottom of the stall. And lastly, the WIFI just didn’t work at all. I’d tried to connect downstairs and it didn’t work, and it also didn’t work in the attic. The front desk said to restart my phone which I did, so I just concluded I couldn’t consider WIFI an amenity during our stay, except for the TV, which did connect to WIFI at least (with just some slight buffering on videos at one point). We were just here for a night, and I’d probably be comfortable to stay again for a brief stop.

Near the infamous leithwalk. Basic amenities. No fridge in the room nor kitchen. Can’t buy anything to eat and keep, as the room doesn’t have it.

Great spot, had everything i needed and staff were friendly

My attic room was spacious by Edinburgh standards and had a sunlight window that could be opened to let in the air. The stairs to get to this point were narrow, windy and a bit dicey. The bed was lumpy and the WiFi almost nonexistent. It was nice to have an electric kettle with coffee and tea provided.

No thrills stay. Very clean room but furnishings were a bit tired. Not much interaction with the hotel staff. Bed was comfortable and area was covnient to central Edinburgh.
