I am a solo traveler, and I found this hotel to be a perfect option for me. It was nice, clean, and modern. The hotel staff was very welcoming. I didn’t choose a very spacious room, but it was impressively clean, quiet, and livable, and the bed was quite comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean, with a nice shower. I didn’t try the breakfast or the bar, but the downstairs space has a bright, lively and funky vibe. The hotel is within walking distance of Merchant City shops and restaurants, an Aldi, and the Glasgow Cathedral and Necropolis (a must see). I would definitely stay here again!

Such a great hotel to stay at. The buffet breakfast was brilliant and had a wide variety of foods and drinks. One member of staff was so kind to make us vegetarian sausages instead of the pork sausages that were on the buffet table. She was happy to help us enjoy all the food options that were on offer. The room was great, really quiet and clean with Air conditioning if it got too warm. Staff were always there if I needed help to get around Glasgow and gave us good suggestions with where to go and visit from Shopping Malls to famous Landmarks and stunning Architecture. I’d just like to say thank you to all the staff at Moxy Merchant City for such a great stay at your stunning hotel. We will definitely be staying here again when we’re next in Glasgow!

Check in quick and easy. Early entry was appreciated. Room fine, clean. WiFi good. Hotel well positioned for east end and centre of Glasgow.centre is a 10 min walk. Convenient multi story parking adjacent at Duke Street car park. £6 for the night. Good value overall stay. Did not eat at the hotel.

The room was very good and the hotel conveniently placed but not happy that the security deposit will not be refunded for 7 to 12 working days, absolute disgrace.

Trendy hotel with a good choice of fun activities in the lobby. Very friendly staff. No room service but we could order and take the food in our room so it was fine. The only thing is that we lacked information about breakfast price and gym opening hours that we couldn't even find on the hotel channel on the TV. Apart from that (minor thing) we had a lovely stay. The location is 12mns walk from Queen st train station, it's the East side of Glasgow which doesn't look great but there's is a nice selection of restaurants nearby (try Santa Lucia and Sapporo!) and an Aldi and a Tesco Express open until very late.

We arrived really early and staff were friendly and helpful. Showing us where we could leave luggage securely until we could check in and giving information about checking in later (late evening after an event). Great modern twin room and comfy beds. We are looking forward to coming back again.

Stay was great, found the room too hot, and could not get the air con to turn down. The plasticky sheet on the bed made it very sweaty and uncomfortable for me. The extractir fan in the bathroom seemed not to be working, so it was unbearable warm in there.
