I am a solo traveler, and I found this hotel to be a perfect option for me. It was nice, clean, and modern. The hotel staff was very welcoming. I didn’t choose a very spacious room, but it was impressively clean, quiet, and livable, and the bed was quite comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean, with a nice shower. I didn’t try the breakfast or the bar, but the downstairs space has a bright, lively and funky vibe. The hotel is within walking distance of Merchant City shops and restaurants, an Aldi, and the Glasgow Cathedral and Necropolis (a must see). I would definitely stay here again!

Such a great hotel to stay at. The buffet breakfast was brilliant and had a wide variety of foods and drinks. One member of staff was so kind to make us vegetarian sausages instead of the pork sausages that were on the buffet table. She was happy to help us enjoy all the food options that were on offer. The room was great, really quiet and clean with Air conditioning if it got too warm. Staff were always there if I needed help to get around Glasgow and gave us good suggestions with where to go and visit from Shopping Malls to famous Landmarks and stunning Architecture. I’d just like to say thank you to all the staff at Moxy Merchant City for such a great stay at your stunning hotel. We will definitely be staying here again when we’re next in Glasgow!
