I loved the tartan decorated rooms! We were cozily nestled in one of the lower rooms so the space was comfortably cool and quiet during a very hot Scottish visit!

Room was clean and perfect for one person. The pillow was a little hard and I wish there was a hairdryer but for the price and location it was a deal.

It was very quiet almost all the time. I thought I was alone at the place at first, just the way I like it. Had only one issue. The wall in the room next to me was quite thin. The beds must have been along the same wall. I could hear snoring and when I was on the phone late the person next to me pounded on the wall. That may be just a problem in room 301. Other than that it was very quiet. The provided breakfast options were great. Staff was always helpful and friendly. Do note that this is a walk up, no elevator.

Front desk staff were always very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was hearty and delicious every morning!

Good breakfast and nice size room. Only thing I wasn't expecting was stairs only. 2 lovely flights of stairs to traverse, wasn't so bad. Nice staff.

Hotel a 20 mte. bus ride from the station, room for a single was spacious and the buffet breakfast all that was required. Would stay again but with no lift the top floor was a slog at my age, request a lower floor if have mobilty problems.

Breakfast was excellent and property was clean if a little jaded. My wife left hair straighteners behind and despite numerous enquiries and promises of a call back nothing has been heard.

Good location, simple and functional room, friendly staff, no parking attached to hotel, free on street parking a pleasant 10 mins walk away

Room was clean and comfortable but the hotel needs modernised. Saying that breakfast was decent, staff were lovely and we felt this hotel was reasonable for a one night stay

Parking is not convenient. You have to walk about 10 minutes and there's no guarantee there will be a space available.

This hotel was perfect for what we needed it for ! It had a queen bed and a single bed , perfect for 3 of us. The rooms are not big , but we spent next to no time in them. The bed linens are clean and there is a nice modern bathroom. They also offered a really nice breakfast , consisting of bacon , sausages, black pudding , potato scone , mushrooms, beans , toast , fruit etc! What more could you ask for, for the price and location. You are a stones throw away from byres road and great western road. Very accessible to Hillhead subway to move around Glasgow. The only minor detail that annoyed me was they did not dust the top of the head boards, and the top of the tile ledge in the bathroom. The dust was annoying me so I did it myself! Other than that - location , comfort , price and breakfast were great! It’s not overly fancy so don’t expect 5 star amenities.

Great location for the University, super-clean and comfortable room. Excellent value for money and very helpful staff. Only issue is parking as the on-street metered bays have a 3 hour limit (and they’re expensive). However, the staff suggested driving to Kirklee Road where it’s free and only about a 10 minute walk.

Self service breakfast was tasty. Coffee was strong. Room was pleasant if a little tired but had everything we needed. Staff were pleasant and efficient. Cant ask for more for what we paid. Would definitely use again

On a eu la chambre en sous sol sous la reception. Passe encore la vue horrible de sous niveau. Par contre après une journée complète a marcher et a voyager, on était fatigué. On se couche tôt mais impossible de dormir. Il y avait un bruit de cliquetis dans le mur comme le bruit d'un compteur ou autre qui se met en route. Ça durait 30sec puis ça revenait non stop toutes les 5min. On appelle le réceptionniste qui a confirmé le problème mais il n'a rien fait, soit disant l'hôtel complet donc pas de changement de chambre, n'a pas fait de remboursement ou un geste envers nous. La nuit a été horrible on s'est endormi vers 1h d'épuisement. Pas de prise dans la salle de bain. Je ne recommande pas cet hotel

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is located close to some great bars & restaurants & within walking distance of the city centre attractions. The beautiful Botanic Gardens are next door. I loved the hot buffet breakfast, it set me up for the day. My bedroom had loads of space, high ceilings and a kettle with tea & coffee. All in all good value for money. There is no free parking outside the hotel but I found plenty within a 20 minute walk away. I will definitely return.
