Great service & food. Room was immaculate & large. Bathroom was really nice. The lounge had real fires burning & was very comfortable. Only drawback was the mattress wasn’t very comfortable.

Ich habe mich im Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt und kann es absolut weiterempfehlen! Die Ausstattung ist rustikal und geschmackvoll, sodass man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Die Zimmer sind sehr komfortabel und bieten alles, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Einziger kleiner Punkt ist das Frühstück, das hauptsächlich nationale Spezialitäten bietet – für ein paar Tage ist das aber völlig in Ordnung und es war trotzdem lecker und frisch. Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Hotel, in das ich gerne wiederkommen würde!

A hotel full of character, with comfortable drawing room , library, welcoming fires and friendly helpful staff. The food in the restaurant was delicious and well presented. The wonderful gardens and views from the dining room are superb. A treat to stay here.
