Excellent location! But if you booked last minute like me be aware that cars cannot drive up to the entrance. Our Uber passed the most convenient drop location and dropped us further away, so that was hard having to pull a lot of luggage pretty far. The tap water tastes great and very strong pressure. Gorgeous building that this is located inside. You’ll find so much good food nearby and a smaller supermarket next door. Also, I did use the locker storage rental after checkout and the location is nearby.

this hotel is a bit off the main thoroughfare but still convenient for walking. the rooms are in a historic house that appears to also house other residences. i felt very safe in this area. there is a bar/coffee place at the end of the block - 2 minutes walk. entry is thru a code provided via email so once you are in, you make your way up the tiny lift (at least there is one) to the rooms. my room was comfortable, clean & bed was great. my only complaint was the shower. in the early morning i discovered the shower didn't drain; so there i am ready to use it and i had to whatsapp someone to come fix it. good thing there was a night manager who came quickly and made note of it so someone could come while i was out to fix it. meanwhile i had to turn the water on & off so it didn't overflow into the room. also the battery on the safe was dead so i wasn't able to lock up my valuables, although there was no issue. the person on the other side of whatapp was very responsive to my requests and it was a lovely place to stay.

The hotel was excellent. The location was perfect and close to everything. There were busses and subways nearby if you don't want to walk The staff, which helped us out with a few things, were very friendly & helpful. They were located off premise, but only a couple of minutes away.

Great hotel, easy online check in. Everything was great. I would definitely stay again. The noise proofing from the street is fantastic, couldn’t hear anything from outside. There is a shared kitchen and the sound from the other guests was noticeable. Another guest was sick and hacking and coughing in the kitchen for a while, which was unfortunate but not a big deal. Overall, it was a great stay.

Great location near Casco Viejo (Old Town). Nice amenities.

Het huis lag prachtig midden in de oude stad. Uitzicht was er niet. Verder alles helemaal goed.

Room is clean and comfortable. There us no front desk and we got access code via WhatsApp There is a mini mart next to it where we can buy water and fruits. Lots of tapas bars, bakery, shops around this area. 23 minutes walk to Guggenheim museum. It is a fun walk along the river. We got up as early as 7:00am so that we can arrive at Gatztelugatxe without reservation before the staff starts work. It worked well.

Good, basic accommodation in the heart of the Old Town. The location is great, but it can be quite noisy as a result. Also, the walls are quite thin, so you can hear sounds from the neighboring rooms. Ultimately, it comes down to what you prefer: a central location or peace and quiet.

Central location, very clean, easy entry system and perfect for my short break. The soundproofing isn't very good but earplugs sorted that!

Prompt excellent help from staff when needed

I was in the old part of Bilbao and near shops, cafes and restaurants. Transport was good as it was near bus stops and a metro station.

Todo bien.

Unusual hot weather. Fans available. Helped but ceiling fan off and on. Stuffy. Kitchen nice. Bed and shower nice.
