I stayed at this property for 3 days.I liked that the beach was within walking distance from the hotel. I enjoyed the cafe con leche from the bar. The staff was helpful...but not very welcoming. The pool area was nice especially the two jacuzzis upstairs however the timer on them was malfunctioning.

Amazing stay with a delicious breakfast and beautiful pool. The perfect location for rest and relaxation.

The hotel was in a great location a five minute walk from the beach. Good breakfast and nice pool beds and pool. Service was good overall. The rooms were nice and clean but they were not very soundproof. You could hear a lot of chairs being pushed and pulled around on balconies and people talking late at night which did not aid with good sleep. This is something that could hopefully improve.

Despite its four-star claims, the Essence Hotel in Torremolinos delivered a disappointing experience from start to finish. The front desk staff were consistently rude and unhelpful, making even simple requests feel like an inconvenience. Although I was given a voucher for a welcome drink, I was met with eye-rolling from the bartender when I tried to redeem it — which made me wonder why they offer it at all. Towel service was frustrating: not mentioned at check-in, only available at the front desk, and limited to one exchange per day before 3:00 PM. When I inquired, I was ignored for five minutes while the staff took a phone call, and I eventually walked away. I was also given no help when I asked for dining recommendations near the beach, assistance with mailing a stamped postcard, or even directions to the nearest mailbox — ironically, my Uber driver was far more helpful than anyone at the hotel. Because of the poor service, I avoided spending another cent on the property, including dining. The dismissive attitude left no desire to support the hotel further. The facilities looked nice but didn’t function well — the A/C had no fan control, and the bathroom fan blasted every time you turned on the light. It’s more a three-star property wearing a four-star label. Overall, a stylish exterior couldn’t make up for the lack of hospitality. I won’t be returning — and wouldn’t recommend it.

It was a great 3 night stay, the facilities were great, staff friendly and for a couple the hotel had everything we would need or want. Only downer for us was the room location. Directly above the main entrance so heard everyone coming and going very clearly, facing a main road with buses and Lorrie’s going up and down and internally opposite the lift and stairs so heard everyone on our floor coming and going. We would absolutely visit again but request a different room location if possible.

Ha sido un fin de semana espectacular. Un trato escepcional en el hotel por parte de todo el personal. El desayuno completísimo, y la piscina, y demás servicios, sobresalientes. Muy cerca de la playa, prácticamente en el paseo marítimo, pero sin estar en el paseo que suele ser molesto.

Close to the beach - 1 min walking, to the center 15 mins walking up. Small hotel, quite pool and hot jacuzzis. Towel service for the pool. good buffet breakfast/dinner. Helpful staff. Sky bar is ok.

A wonderful stay overall. The hotel was spotless, with good amenities, delicious food, and welcoming staff. The property was well-maintained and pleasantly quiet, especially considering its location right in the middle of the busy coastline and restaurants — perfect for a relaxing getaway. Good value for the money paid.

Första gången vi valde det här hotellet. Jättebra läge nära stranden och allt du behöver. Check-in var utmärkt, trotts att vi kom innan 15.00, hotellet verkligen anstränger sig för att ge gäster en fantastisk upplevelse. Solsängarna var super bekvämma och lyxiga! Att ha poolen & flera jacuzzi öppna 24/7 var något jag aldrig sett och uppskattad 100%!! Frukosten är av väldig bra kvalité och själva stämningen var fantastisk. Lite önskemål: vi upplevde hotellet som top of the line, men hade uppskattat lite variation gällande musiken i bakgrunden. Lite jazz (då och då) eller något annat förutom schlager, hade varit precis i samma nivån med resten av hotellet. Rummet vi fick hade en 140 säng, som var liten för 2 personer (min man är >180cm). Vi blev glada att veta att det fanns andra typ av sängar. Madrassen var inte så bekväm, men trotts det, kommer vi tillbaks nästa år! Servicen var fantastico!

We were pleasantly surprised at the location and how nice this hotel was. It was exactly what we were looking for. It has a very nice pool area. Very minor suggestions: shower doors make loud noises when closing. 2 luggage racks would be great.

À fuir – Hôtel au cadre toxique, équipe d’amateurs, service agressif. Ne vous laissez pas tromper par l’apparence extérieure de l’hôtel. L’expérience à l’intérieur est tout simplement inacceptable. À l’arrivée, j’ai attendu 45 minutes pour un simple check-in, avec trois demandes répétées de pièce d’identité, sans explication claire. Mais le plus choquant reste l’attitude du personnel, en particulier le manager et la réception, extrêmement agressifs et irrespectueux. Le manager m’a ouvertement accusé de mentir, sans preuve, et s’est comporté de manière hostile. L’ensemble de l’équipe semble mal formée, tendue, froide, et incapable de gérer un service client de base. Un véritable climat toxique règne dans cet établissement. Un late check-out m’avait été confirmé, avant qu’on me réclame 140 € supplémentaires sans justification. Et pour finir, la chambre présentait des problèmes d’hygiène graves, me causant un vrai malaise physique après la nuit passée. Je déconseille formellement cet hôtel. Une gestion désastreuse, une équipe non qualifiée, et une ambiance agressive : tout ce qu’on cherche à éviter en voyage.

Hôtel très bien situé à Torremolinos, facile d'accès en venant par le train (12 mn à pied) et de "taille humaine". Nous avons apprécié le calme au sein de cet établissement, que ce soit aux abords de la piscine, dans la salle de restauration ou dans les couloirs. Le personnel est très sympathique et prévenant. Nous avions choisi la suite Bali. La chambre est très confortable et bien équipée, la literie de bonne qualité. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent, avec beaucoup de choix et un très bon café. La piscine d'eau de mer à 29° est un plus certain. Bref, nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans cet établissement et y avons déjà réservé un prochain séjour en septembre, mais cette fois-ci avec une chambre côté piscine (car nous avons trouvé la rue assez bruyante la nuit).
