Highly recommend this hotel. The most unbelievably incredible view of the alps and Lake Thun (make sure you book a balcony room). Wonderful breakfast included (not just continental). Sauna, steam room wellness spa on premises. Friendly people, and cute mountain town; just about 15 minutes from Interlaken. Loved this hotel, we returned and booked another night after some traveling around the area.

Nos encantó el hotel. Todo estaba muy limpio, el desayuno era completo y tenía bastante variedad. Las vistas son increíbles, probablemente de las mejores que vimos en Suiza. Sin duda volveríamos.

Parking was right at the hotel. Large rooms with large balconies that gave us a great view of the valley. Staff was very attentive, even had room service. There were two fans we could use as there was no a/c. Unfortunately our neighbors sat on their balcony laughing a drinking till at least midnight so we couldn’t keep our windows open. The room was a bit too warm. Everything was spotless and the breakfast had many different options. Very tasty. We would stay here agin in the future.

The staff could not have been more kind. Everyone was extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. And the location is gorgeous, too!

Very old outdated property, short staffed located 3 miles up on the hills using one winding road to get there. the bus came once every hour and dropped off at West train station. I had to take another bus to get to Ost train station where the city center was located. unless you are 7 ft tall the bath tub was high and dangerous to get in and out. the ceiling was angled and slopped low above the bed.

The hotel is undergoing renovations with the bar and restaurant which meant there was no dinner provided at the hotel. If we had known this we wouldn’t have made a reservation. If it wasn’t for the stunning views from the room it would have been a 2 star review. Shame as it has so much potential.

Tuve una excelente experiencia en este hotel. Desde mi llegada, todo el personal fue muy amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Algo que aprecié muchísimo fue que varios miembros del equipo me atendieron en español, lo que hizo mi estancia mucho más cómoda. Las vistas desde el hotel son simplemente impresionantes. Despertar y disfrutar de ese paisaje hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más especial y definitivamente fue uno de los aspectos que más me gustó de mi estancia. También disfruté mucho de las áreas de bienestar, como el vapor y las instalaciones de relajación, que estaban en excelentes condiciones y fueron el complemento perfecto para descansar. En todo momento me hicieron sentir bienvenida y muy bien atendida. Sin duda volvería a hospedarme aquí y lo recomiendo ampliamente por la calidad de su servicio, la calidez de su personal y las increíbles vistas.

No air conditioning, no ice, ants in room, breakfast was poor, only accessible is by taxi or wait bus every hour.

On a pas du tomber au bon moment, restaurant fermé, idem pour le bar, direction Interlaken (15 minutes) pour trouver a manger car pas de solution a proximité. Obligé de courir après une des rares personnes présentes pour pouvoir prendre une bière. Rien, lors de la réservation ne mentionnait ces point malgré les multiples messages envoyés par l'hôtel. Hôtel vieillissant, une bonne rénovation et entretien (intérieur/extérieur) ferait beaucoup de bien car il y a du potentiel. La chambre était propre. La salle de bain un peu vétuste, notamment la douche. Les transats sur le balcon étaient en fin de vie. Par contre, les chambres côté lac ont une vue magnifique!

Instead of staying in busy Interlaken, I decided to treat the family to Beatenberg Resort and Spa, which looks amazing on website. Sadly, the website must be AI generated or 20 years old. Pros: staff were friendly, though I only saw two, at separate times. The hotel is clean, for the most part, but our bathroom had a very unpleasant odour and we literally had to ‘mouth breathe’ or feel nauseous. The views of the Alps from back of hotel are spectacular. Cons: Hotel Restaurant is closed for renovations, though there are no renovations visible. This was major problem since the few other local restaurants were full, and we had to bus back to Interlaken for food. This was not evident on booking hotel, and we were not notified. Hotel Bar does not exist, albeit listed on website. Pool table does not exist. Breakfast buffet was very poor quality. This is posted as 4 star hotel so is unacceptable. Eggs were greenish, and foul smelling. There were cold chicken nuggets (yes, chicken nuggets for breakfast) and some other items but the only thing we would eat was croissant and an apple. There is an instant coffee machine. Grounds are neglected. On website there are pics of a wedding ceremony on back grounds. I can only assume this is AI generated. All of the listed ‘activities’ refer to things that can be booked in Interlaken, not at hotel. Ultimately, this was our only mistake in Switzerland so we didnt let it ruin our trip.. However, for 1000 CHF/night stay we feel robbed.

Split feelings about this hotel. What really stands out about this hotel is the location, cleanliness, and the view/atmosphere from the lake facing balcony. It's truly unique and extremely enjoyable and relaxing. Now the not so good parts: - breakfast from 7-10 only, and is kinda mid - half the time nobody present at front desk to help or answer the phone - Spa is basically a small 2-person sauna. No jacuzzi or steak room or anything else - Spa is open only from 5-8pm!! - Gym was closed, had to get help from front desk to open it for me. In summary: it felt great being in my room balcony, but it felt difficult getting any service inside the hotel otherwise. If you're looking for a "Resort & Spa" like the name suggests, avoid this place. Otherwise, go for a lake giew room you'll really enjoy it.

Trevlig och hjälpsam personal men hotellet var tyvärr väldigt nergånget. Bilderna motsvarade inte verkligheten, det såg nästan övergivet ut. Vi frågade om det fanns en pool och fick till svar att det inte gjorde det, trots att det var en pool med i videon på Hotels.com.

Heryer örümcek ağı, odalar ürkütücü, muhatap yok, odalarda su yok, klima yok. WC kapıları elinde kalıyor, ışıklar pırpır ediyor, yastıklar berbat.. kahvaltı inanılmaz berbat. Sakın İsviçre tatilinizi bu otelde kalarak berbat etmeyiniz

La vue est extraordinaire

As someone who stays in 100’s of hotel world wide a year. I don’t know where to start with this one. So let’s start with the positives. The staff were friendly but scare, the view was amazing and the parking was free. Thats its. None of the amenities listed were available or open. So no bar, no restaurant , no hot tub , no pool. As a couple we booked a double room and ended up in two single beds partitioned by half a wooden wall. Hardly romantic. We shared one fan for the two areas on a very hot day. While the pictures might be accurate circa maybe 1980 it does not reflect the current state of the premises now which has seen better days and feels run down and neglected. It is listed as a 4 start hotel with pricing reflected at the higher end that I would expect for a proper 4 start hotel but this establishment should be more accurately listed as a 2/3 star rating and a much lower price. It was terrible value for money and I would never stay here again. I will say the staff did their best to help with the limited resources available but you could tell they were embarrassed.
