버스 정류장, 선착장, 다 가깝습니다. 조용하고 깨끗하고 아침식사도 맛있었고, 모두 다 좋았습니다. 주변에 르웨탄 여행 간다는 사람이 있으면 적극적으로 추천하겠습니다.

조용한 분위기,깔끔한 룸 컨디션, 친절한 서비스 등 정말 좋았어요. 조식 음식 종류는 많지 않아도 필요한 음식만 정성스럽게 준비된 모습. 다만 오후 6시 이후에는 직원이 없어요. 그부분을 제가 알지 못하고 늦게 도착했더니 아무도 없고 문도 잠겨 있어서 난감 했어요. 나중애 보니 메일로 연락이 왔었는데 제가 못봤드라구요- 이부분만 빼면 좋았습니다. 여자 사장님 너무 친절하세요!

위치는 수이셔 보트장 바로앞이고요 건물은 새로지은거같은데~ 크지는않지만 관리가 정말잘돼있어서 방컨디션이 너무 좋더라고요~ 청결그자체라서 좋았습니다~ 조식도 맛있었습니다~ 다시방문한다면 재방문의사100%입니다~

굉장히 좋은 기억을 남기고 갑니다. 주인 아저씨가 굉장히 친절하셨고, 아침에 자전거 투어가 정말 좋았어요. 르웨탄 호수를 자전거 타고 돌 수 있어서 좋았습니다.

This is the first time we stayed in a 民宿 in Taiwan and we are glad that we made a good choice。 Laurel Villa is a well designed and well managed facility for travelers to get a good night sleep。 We enjoyed friendly reception once entering the 民宿. The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was excellent with many varieties of tasty Taiwanese dishes. We especially appreciated the sunrise bike tour led by the owner, Mr. Wang, who is very knowledgeable about the history, geology, and ecology of Sun Moon Lake. He guided us to the best places for sunrise photography along bike paths of the lake. My whole family including two grandkids enjoyed his warm hospitality during our two-day stay at Laurel Villa during Christmas HOLIDAYs.

Wonderful stay - great location, well-equipped with modern conveniences, warm and friendly staff and a bonus early morning bike tour led by the boss. So happy to find the international power socket.

The staff were wonderful and so willing to help with anything whatsoever. The location is impeccable, right near the bus stop. Price is unbeatable, especially since the rooms are very modern and clean.

great location, good variety of offerings at breakfast and a bonus having a free bike tour in the morning. Only one minor criticism is that the bathroom door could be more sound insulating.

What I appreciated: 1. The room was clean, spotless, modern, A/C worked great, bed was comfortable, and shower was great pressure. 2. Guesthouse is literally 3 minutes walk from Taichung to Sun Moon Lake Bus stop, and 30 seconds walk from the Shuishe pier. Saves time. 3. Spacious, I booked a larger room as I wanted spaciousness and it was spacious. 4. Helpful to have air conditioning, mini fridge, bathtub, plenty of tea cups and teas, and water heater in room. What I wish could be better: 1. I feel the customer service, guest experience, and management has a long way to go to be improved. The staff have a very logistical culture (nothing wrong with that, it's still warm in their own way), but I was hoping for the usual super friendly Taiwanese warm hearted culture, and a community/staff that are joy and show a gratitude attitude, which honestly is very common in Taiwan. The moment I entered, I was hoping for a warm hearted welcome and to support a local guest house. However, they didn't say anything about "welcome" and went straight to logistical mode to check-in and give safety warnings. This was my experience throughout my multi-day stay. They emphasized rules and safety from their first "welcome message", to check-in, to check-out. I realized that this was their own logistical culture and way of caring for guests, it just was not for me. I also didn't see any staff talking to each other, seems like no community which is a shame. Please open the garden.

Laurel Villa is excellent and exceeded our expectations. The room is modern and comfortable. They help you to get the best price for bike rentals or ferry rides. They offer a free early morning 5:35am tour (bike tour but you rent the bike which they have a great bike company partner) to see some of the Sun Moon Lake’s spectacular views. Yes it is very early morning but so worth it! And Wayne’s (the owner) knowledge and history of the Sun Moon Lake will be an amazing experience! Don’t miss it! Their free breakfast with authentic Taiwanese food is so good! Hard to resist not to get seconds or thirds. Highly recommend this villa and join the early morning tour! They made our stay and visit to Sun Moon Lake 10 out of 10! We are so thankful to them!
