I don't usually write lengthy reviews for resorts but I've decided to leave a detailed account of my stay at Belmond because my husband and I picked out this resort based on the high ratings on the Hotel.com reviews. First, the check-in process was pleasant and speedy. The reception staff, Blw was very welcoming. However, when we got to our cabin, we were very disappointed with the condition of the rooms. There was a dead butterfly on the living room floor, hair in the bathtub and cobwebs in the corner of bathroom ceiling. Also, on the first night of our stay, we couldn't sleep well because the pillows were smelly and the bed frame squeaked with every turns. Moreover, on the next day, we found out that only the half of the used towels were changed with fresh ones. As for the breakfast service, I was disappointed with the limited choice of menu and poor service. For example, when my husband had to ask more than twice to get his milk with his coffee. Finally, on the third day, I slipped and fell on the bathroom floor because the floor was too slippery. I ended up with a sprained ankle and bruises on my left buttock. I've notified the reception desk of the accident and asked for ice and some first aid products for the injuries. However, only a bucket of ice was sent to the room. None of the staff had asked us to see how badly I was injured.My husband and I love traveling in Thailand and we've stayed at numerous 5-star resorts in the past but by far, Belmond was the place ever.

Exceptional property with gracious and attentive staff. Villa I have stayed in was beautifully done, very authentic and modern at the same time. Property was luxurious, private, and quiet. Will definitely comeback for a longer stay.

Beautiful beach and resort

This is a gem in Ko Samui. It is a serene and beautiful property with high-quality dining options and delicious cocktails. The spa offers highly recommended services.The resort staff is very experienced and friendly.

Lage direkt am Meer, sensationell! Freundliches Personal die keinen Wunsch offen gelassen haben. Die einzelnen Häuser sind mit freier Sicht zum Meer optimal angeordnet. Kurze Wege in der Anlage. Auch der Pool läd ein hier Zeit zu verbringen und den Blick aufs Meer zu genießen.

Lovely place with excellent food, a beautiful pool and grounds and good service. Also good options to explore the island. The white sand beach is gorgeous - the morning tide is low so swimming then is challenging in the sea but the pool is an excellent alternative. The signature massage is amazing.

This is true 5 star property. From the moment you check in you feel you are being treated royally and are in a luxury property. I was given a free upgrade to beachside bungalow with sea view throughout spacious room and and lovely large covered deck. The pool and beach were close by. This is one of largest most lovely designed I have seen on trip. Its infinity design, style and color truly are unique. It was a short walk to seaside. Only downside water was very very shallow. So could not swim only lounge in warm water. Breakfast was amazing buffet. Good choices for room service. Food was delicious. The staff was incredible so eager to please always with a smile. The grounds including gym and spa are spacious and beautiful. Only downside is property was not close to other restaurants, beaches or shopping areas. It’s a long expensive taxi ride to other areas. But I highly recommend this property. It was a vacation from my vacation!!

The most beautiful, peaceful, serene property with OUTSTANDING staff who go above and beyond to make everything perfect. The place is lovely but what makes it even more special is the staff- they are all genuine, kind and incredibly friendly and helpful. Heaven on earth!! We hope to return…

Nice relaxed atmosphere. Great facilities.

This hotel is so run down. It needs to be knocked down and rebuilt. I should have known when Belmond released themselves and sold it 2 months before our arrival- it must of been bad. The pool towels are old and stained, the pool needs to be re-tiled and the grout is brown and it so sharp and uneven. The pool deck is so sandy and uneven- was dragging into our room! The gym is disgusting and old equipment and nothing has ever been wiped down. The rooms! The wood floors are stained from water and sooooo creaky and old, the showers has a pull drain cord and wood blinds in them! So so so outdated! I think the hairdryer was from the 1980s. The staff was amazing, the breakfast was so good but this hotel needs a HUGE renovation!

Exceptional service and property. So many activities to sign up for on the resort. The food was incredible and the room was extremely comfortable. We absolutely loved the staff and cannot express enough how amazing the service was which made our stay extra special. The private beach and entire property is stunning and we highly recommend staying here.

Nice room and facilities on the beach. Close but not too close to town. Great service at poolside restaurant.

We stayed 8 days in February 2025. The place is absolutely wonderful. The small houses are beautiful, the staff are all very serviceminded. The beach and pool area is amazing. After Napasai we had booked 5 days at another resort. After 1 night there we returned to Napasai. It was like coming home. We can only recommend Napasai.
