I don't usually write lengthy reviews for resorts but I've decided to leave a detailed account of my stay at Belmond because my husband and I picked out this resort based on the high ratings on the Hotel.com reviews. First, the check-in process was pleasant and speedy. The reception staff, Blw was very welcoming. However, when we got to our cabin, we were very disappointed with the condition of the rooms. There was a dead butterfly on the living room floor, hair in the bathtub and cobwebs in the corner of bathroom ceiling. Also, on the first night of our stay, we couldn't sleep well because the pillows were smelly and the bed frame squeaked with every turns. Moreover, on the next day, we found out that only the half of the used towels were changed with fresh ones. As for the breakfast service, I was disappointed with the limited choice of menu and poor service. For example, when my husband had to ask more than twice to get his milk with his coffee. Finally, on the third day, I slipped and fell on the bathroom floor because the floor was too slippery. I ended up with a sprained ankle and bruises on my left buttock. I've notified the reception desk of the accident and asked for ice and some first aid products for the injuries. However, only a bucket of ice was sent to the room. None of the staff had asked us to see how badly I was injured.My husband and I love traveling in Thailand and we've stayed at numerous 5-star resorts in the past but by far, Belmond was the place ever.

Veldig bra resort, men kunne med fordel ha et mer variert mattilbud.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was great. We enjoyed the beach. We had no trouble getting from our villa to the resort center; the buggies always arrived promptly. Our particular residence was multi-level, with a lot of steps, and so should only be chosen by guests who are fully ambulatory. It was quite luxurious and had a full size pool, quite impressive and more than we expected. The scheduled on site activities and the spa were thoroughly enjoyed. The concierge assisted us with arranging off-site experiences and airport transportation.

Beautiful resort with friendly staff

Wunderschönes Hotel in traumhafter Lage. Ich bin noch nie so herzlich und zuvorkommend in einem Hotel empfangen worden. Der Service war einzigartig. Alles blitzsauber und ruhig. Zimmer groß und mit tollem Meerblick. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend und für jeden ist was dabei. Auch das Restaurant bietet authentisch thailändische Küche zu fairen Preisen. Ich wäre am liebsten dort geblieben.

Mein Partner und ich haben in Napasai unseren Urlaub gemacht und waren überglücklich, dass wir uns genau für dieses Hotel entschieden haben. Die Lage ist ideal – nur etwa 20–30 Minuten von den Sehenswürdigkeiten und dem Flughafen entfernt.Im Hotel ist alles bis ins Detail durchdacht: Man kann kostenlos Fahrräder, Kajaks oder sogar ein Stand-up-Paddleboard ausleihen. Das Restaurant ist hervorragend, alles war sehr lecker.Ein großes Dankeschön an das gesamte Hotelpersonal! Vom Check-in bis zur Abreise haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Man wurde immer mit einem Lächeln und echtem Wunsch empfangen, unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich zu machen. Alles war mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet.Auch der hoteleigene Strand ist einfach traumhaft – sauber, gepflegt und mit einem sanften, fast steinfreien Einstieg ins Wasser. Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen, und beim nächsten Mal kommen wir ganz bestimmt wieder!

A truly wonderful place. We stayed in a 2 bed villa which felt very private and was stunning. Tips - there are about 100 steps from top to bottom and the rooms don’t interconnect and are separate from each other but once you get your head round that it’s great. The pool is a good size and we loved the downstairs kitchen and sitting area by the pool. The main pool is vast with plenty of beds and we had dinner on the beach one night which was lovely. Nice cocktail bar by the pool at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Exceptional property with gracious and attentive staff. Villa I have stayed in was beautifully done, very authentic and modern at the same time. Property was luxurious, private, and quiet. Will definitely comeback for a longer stay.

This is a gem in Ko Samui. It is a serene and beautiful property with high-quality dining options and delicious cocktails. The spa offers highly recommended services.The resort staff is very experienced and friendly.

Lage direkt am Meer, sensationell! Freundliches Personal die keinen Wunsch offen gelassen haben. Die einzelnen Häuser sind mit freier Sicht zum Meer optimal angeordnet. Kurze Wege in der Anlage. Auch der Pool läd ein hier Zeit zu verbringen und den Blick aufs Meer zu genießen.

Great hotel, very comfortable and beautiful. The team from the hotel is really nice. Very recommended.

Lovely place with excellent food, a beautiful pool and grounds and good service. Also good options to explore the island. The white sand beach is gorgeous - the morning tide is low so swimming then is challenging in the sea but the pool is an excellent alternative. The signature massage is amazing.
