A very clean and proper inn for those looking for a stay that's quiet, relaxing and laid back. Perfect for a romantic getaway with the jetted tubs and a wonderful gas fireplace to warm up by. It would have been nice to have a smart TV with streaming options, but other than that I there isn't anything more I could have asked for.

Pros: Charming, quiet - comfortable beds. Nice towels and good robes. Fireplaces in every room. Comfortable, inviting common area. Easy access to nice walking trail that goes all the way to Avila Beach. Cons: A little worn around the edges. Threadbare chairs in the rooms. Torn draperies. My first room had lukewarm water in shower and I had to be moved the next day - lucky there was an available room. Front desk staff pleasant but not exceptionally helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I love this property and have stayed here once before. It’s a beautiful Inn with the Bob Jones walking/biking path right behind the property. However, the rooms need work, the shower gives just enough water to barely get wet (you have to run around in the shower) , and it doesn’t getter hotter than look warm, one of the sink faucets in the bathroom had a cold handle that did not work, and the curtains would not move without fighting with them for 20 min. On the positive side, the free coffee, water and charging station for EV cars is wonderful as well as the bikes you can borrow to ride on the trail. Overall we still have a fondness for this place, it just needs some TLC.

I like the fire place in my room. Friendly staff. Good coffee in their market place which offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lovely and flat trails around the property.

I enjoy staying at this property. I'm the past, my wife and I have found this location to be excellent. This is the first time I've stayed on floor# 1 and I found the bathroom disappointing. The tub was too hard to get in and out of and there was a frequent gurgling in the sink and shower. The gurgling was usually accompanied by an odor.

The front desk was Super helpful and accommodating. The common area was warm and inviting and beautifully decorated for the holidays. The proximity and access to the walking trail to the beach is awesome. The amenities in the room, fireplace and fridge were great. Would definitely stay here again.

The bathroom could use some improvements. Towel bar was barely hanging on and the tub faucet actually came off as we struggled to get the shower on.

Staff was excellent. We had a problem with the room and the fireplace not working, but they did everything they could to take care of us, including changing us to a room with the working fireplace.
