I cannot understand why I have to pay for minibar which we DID NOT use. They charged me for $11.98(two payments of using minibar/in room water) and I asked them to cancel the fee because we didn't touch the minibar or water bottle at all. However, they just cancelled only $5.99 and did not explain this situation. I kept asking why you didn't cancel another payment of $5.99 to an assistant general manager but he hasn't got back to me yet. He just said 'payment of $5.99 was refunded' which is not a problem. Do they want just 6 bucks for service? Or what? I wish I was in the US so I can make a call but I am outside of the US. I guess they know this situation and keep ignoring my email. This is not about money. This is about your reputation and trust. If you decided to stay at this hotel, check your receipt thoroughly.

Very close walk to Penn Station, also very close to Korea Town.

Clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Great location, walkable to most popular places. View of Empire State Building outside of my window was a nice surprise!

Stayed in the penthouse, great view of the empire State building. Rooms clean and staff helpful. Would recommend

Great property near everything

Everything went perfect.

We stayed here for a long weekend because we were seeing Lady Gaga at MSG and the location was great - only a 5 min walk to the venue. We were also within walking distance to Times Square and Broadway. Comfortable room although a bit small with two queen beds. Lovely view of the Empire State Building. The restaurant and bar was nice and the food was great! Hotel and bar staff were super friendly and accommodating. Would definitely return!

In general was great, the fridge in our room didn’t work at its best, but it was really a secondary issue

Great staff

Good location, food service is not what you’d expect at a Doubletree, felt like they were just checking the box but it’s a afterthought compared to Garden Inns and other DT’s it’s pretty bad. Rooms are nice and it’s clean!

Staff were excellent. Room was spotless and bed was really comfortable

Breakfast is good, Bathroom had black mold, front desk staff were dismissive and uninviting.

The elevator breaking down more than once was our only issue. There are only two elevators, so if one breaks down, the other one immediately backs up.

Stayed for a night and was perfect for that! only thing is that I was told that my room was ready before i even got there because i was trying to have an earlier check in time. i got there 350 and we had to wait for our room to be ready?? confusing since check in is at 4pm.. we waited til 415 and at that point i just switched to a room that was already ready because we had to start getting ready for our concert. other than that, was great!

We had a great time last week

Very friendly staff, clean, very nice courtyard in front of property.

Check in staff were so friendly and efficient. Room was clean and a good size for NYC. We were on a low floor and we didn’t not hear a single outside sound — the noise proofing is amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

Location is convenient and cost-effective for the area.
