Comfortable bed and nice hot shower. Furnishings need to be updated.

Nice staff, decent room.

Overall, the property and facility were acceptable. However, the rugs need to be upgraded.

The room had a ordor to it like covering stale smoke. All in all the room was clean.

Yellowing stains on the ceiling as you walk into the room, no drain plug in the bathroom sink, bath towels were sized so small looks like they were all made for children and very rough, rooms were all pretty dark (not enough lighting) and the TV was tiny. Pool area also could use some work, chairs were all broken and the lights didn’t work, only source of light at night was a mediocre spot light that makes it look like a construction site. This property has potential but the owner spent it all on the lobby and “cosmetics” of the property and not the guest experience. I’ve worked in hotels before and for almost $300 a night, you expect a little more than just “okay”, especially when staying in a place like Mystic.

You can tell this property has not been updated in more than 20 years. The bed was comfortable but the surroundings itself is ancient and tired and hasn’t been cared for properly in a long time. The only thing it has going for it is the fact that it’s close to the highway and close to the Mystic aquarium. We will not stay there again.

Check in was easy. Staff was friendly and for the most part available. Our room was not terrible but we faced the dumpsters. The shower was in need of repair, the shower curtain rod was clearly broken and water flooded the floor. Check out proved to be more difficult as staff was not available but a note was left to leave room key on counter. Not sure how that works for checking out. I followed up with a call but we shall see. Still have not gotten an email. Overall could use some updating. We did not use the pool as the hours didnt fit our schedule. the floor. tdiner.

They only clean the rooms every three days so, it was difficult to get clean towels.

You get what you pay for. It was fine for one night

I was charged close to 100$ more than anticipated, I shouldn't have paid more than 201 and was charged 289

7/10. This hotel is a little beat up and outdated but the location is amazing (across the street from Olde Mystic Village) and the beds are very comfortable, at least mine was, and I slept very well here. The microwave and fridge were very convenient. Being extremely affordable, I will stay here again when visiting the Mystic area.

This hotel is wonderful, the staff is kind, and the hotel is a great get away.

This Howard Johnson is horrible dirty & smelly check in staff was friendly & nice as soon as we got to the entrance door they directed us to i gag & wanted to puke hotels.com should remove the property from its site & I also inform Wyndham that the property is tarnishing to their name

Clean but building is deteriorating

It was the MOST DISTGUSTING PLACE IVE EVER STAYED! the rug was wet and the room smelled like wet dog. The room was dirty and gross I felt gross after showering. I tried to switch hotels but hotels.com was useless and could do nothing I’ve used hotels.com for years but I will be telling EVERYONE I know to not use them. I paid $338 to stay at a roach motel it was so awful the tv was tiny and the floor was sticky and rug had a huge hole and my boyfriend hurt his foot on the metal under the rug it ruined our whole night away. Don’t stay here it’s awful.

The carpets in hallway, rooms need to be cleaner. Stairs area were dirty.

It’s was nice and convenient to get to Mystic Aquarium and Mystic Village
