Check-in was a breeze!!! Excellent staff!! Within walking distance to lots of food options, Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, and Huntington Convention Center!!! Great price for the room. Will definitely stay here again!!

It looks like a motel. The cleanliness is bad and the service is poor. It was very uncomfortable because there was so much dust everywhere. The Westin hotel is a bad experience.

No service was given to my room on a daily basis. In regards to my bed being made in regards to the trash being emptied, and the bathroom being cleaned.

The property is a typical Westin- clean, updated and nice amenities. My dislike is about this particular stay. It was sold out (or close). There was a volleyball tournament nearby, so obviously there were lots of teens and parents. I think we were the only ones on our floor without kids, which is fine if the kids were respectful. The loud yelling and running down the halls was awful. I was very close to calling the front desk when the emergency alarm went off around 10:30 pm. After speaking with a mom of a volleyball player, she said this has happened the past 3 years when they stay here!! There are 23 floors in this hotel and the elevators were, obviously, not running during the “emergency”. All these people from 23 floors walking down the stairwell , when there wasn’t even an emergency, was insane. Now try getting back up- when 2 of the 5 elevators weren’t even working!! We waited 30 minutes for an elevator when we first arrived! Walking up 9 flights of stairs with our bags wasn’t an option. I normally don’t complain, but this wasn’t a pleasant stay.

I really would like to give a great overall rating, but I was underwhelmed. The hotel in itself was very nice. It was the state of our room that I was not impressed with. There were zero trashcan liners. There were zero condiments for the coffee so black coffee was the only option. Also, the lids that they left for the coffee cups didn’t fit the coffee cups. There was candy from a previous guest on the floor. I feel like there was lack of time spent cleaning and stocking our room.

Loved my stay. The only problem was an odd smell that I noticed at the onset and throughout my stay. It could have been the cleaning solutions. Other than that everything was great - except for loud neighbors at 1 am. But I know you don’t have control over that.

My room was 1923 and the toilets the shower and sink had no cold water only extreme hot water. I did not have time to mention it to the staff.

I don’t like the parking situation at all . U pay for a room then have to valet for $50 or self park for $25. If y self park everything u come out u have to pay again . The bar was not clean they sit u at dirty tables . Last but not least my room was sooo cold . I called front desk from my phone and room phone no answer and then I went down stairs and they were just sitting there . They said they will send someone and they took so long I fell asleep so yes I slept in a cold room : my neighbors on my floor also said they were cold . Nice hotel needs better management

Absolutely breathtaking industrialist era hotel. Even the restaurant is head and shoulders above the big name chain we are accustomed to. The decor, ambiance and old world design is married well with the modern convenience. I will come back just to stay at a proper hotel for once. Well Done.

Appreciate them upgrading our room but the rooms themselves are very old and dated. The bathroom ceiling was falling apart from water damage, the tub fixtures were really old, the toilet was extremely close to the tub and had rusted fixtures.

The room was cold and we couldn't get the heat to stay on. When my partner went to the front desk (because the hotel phone did not work), he asked for a blanket. The desk employee said no. When my partner complained about the freezing room and asked for an alternative room, he was told "no". The desk employee then called security....they also failed to show up. Disappointing experience.

Stay was great, my only problem was, i asked for a taxi to the airport, because i got a flight 6 in the morning, and the Uber wait time was 13 minutes, so i asked the guy at the front desk if he could get a taxi faster, he said sure he gave me a card and say i can call i gave him back and asked him to call, he said in 4-5 mins the taxi will be there, and honestly it took luke the same 13 mins before it came, i asked the driver how much to the Airport he says no worries when we reach the timer will let him know, which there was no mark to indicate he was even a taxi, when we reached the Airport he told us it's $136 plus tax to $140, i traveled all over and this is the biggest scam ever...i never asked for a luxury taxi which a honda personal crv can't be luxury, Biggest Scam ever and totally disappointed with the front desk staff because i asked for a taxi and i told him the reason why because the huber was only $34.But otherwise hotel is great and housekeeping did a wonderful service also the Bellmen were extremely helpful also Breakfast staff.
