Wondeful room interior, ocean view and bed/room size ever. But cleanliness and in-room amenities was worst relative to the price we paid (Over $1350 per night). Every morning, throats hurted as the room seemed to have too much dusts, and there were no water pot and kitchen utensils. Out of all things, its restaurants in this 5-star hotel was the worst ever. Worse than any other low-cost dining outside the hotel. Ikena, the breakfast buffet, had great serving staffs and ocean view, but food was awful. Diversity was very lacking, and taste was bad too. It only had several types of breads, one pancake, salads, meats(bacom and sausage only), milks, yogurts, fruits and one single omelette stand with a staff. Fruit juices, omelette, fruits were decent but anything else did not deserve to be in a 5-star hotel and $50/person price. Humuhumunukunukuapua, had a nice air and interesting interior as if we were eating on a hut on a sea, but food was just like any other TGIF or Outback's microwave warmed foods. If a 5-star hotel offers this quality of foods, it deserves to be evaluated as "AWFUL" or "WORST". Even local people say its restaurant is awful, and they guess the reason as Grand Wailea's policy to rotate chefs every 3 months. (If it is true or not) As a guest wishing Grand Wailea keeps its great strength and thrives throughout the next generation, I really hope Grand Wailea matches its quality to price!!!!

디너 룸서비스 메뉴가 룸에 없음. 크고 복잡한 시설 관련 체크인시 설명해 주지 않음. 멋진 풀과 슬라이드가 가득함.

This resort is stunning! The view from our room was amazing! We stayed 8 nights and ate at all the restaurants. All were great. Nobu had the best sunset (make reservation for 30 mins prior to sunset and request the middle table out on the patio). The bar at Humuhumunukunukuapuaa is so cool! You’ll see all the stars of Finding Nemo. We also attended the Luau and had a VIP table right in front. Definitely worth it!

We spent 1 day of our trip to Maui at the Grand Wailea to enjoy the pools before we left the island. This was our 4th time at Grand Wailea - and it was amazing again. There was a bit of concern with my initial booking that I tried to get corrected by phone before arrival, but Gilbert at the front desk was super reassuring and got us all sorted! We had a wonderful stay! Wayne at the swim-up bar was super nice, and we all loved the aquarium bar at Humahuma - definitely another highlight!

A step down from the Four Seasons next door, but it was an ok stay.

Great way to keep kids burning calories, and fun to relax as well. The fog generator in the cavern by the bar is amazing, but wish slides were all open and more unique fog was available.

Spa was amazing. Loved Carey! The hotel itself can be renovated. It’s showing its age. I use to stay here every year 25 years ago.

Excellent property, beautiful rooms, very clean rooms and property, the beach is excellent with nice clear water year round, staff is very attentive, food is first class, very safe, property is kept in excellent shape, pools are nice and clean, the gardens are always clean and nicely manicured, loved the fish ponds around the rooms, excellent experience, highly recommended property.

Pros: The pools and water slides were nice for and the beach access and beach were great. Rooms were cleaned daily and were large and nice. Check in and billing were easy. Cons: Very large property so it took a while to get where you were going. The only parking option was valet for $75/overnight. We chose to park our car offsite and received guff from a few certain valet attendants, others were nice. Beach chairs were available for free to carry out ourselves, but nicer pre-setup chairs with umbrellas had a fee of $75. Hotel does not offer leis at welcome. Overall: Hotel was pretty, well kept, clean, and had fun pools for young children. Experience would have been much better if parking was free for guests considering the price per night of hotel and additional resort fee. Would not consider this a “luxury” hotel.

Das Hotel ist zwar preislich im höheren Segment, aber jeder Dollar macht sich bemerkbar: Die Mitarbeiter sind außergewöhnlich kundenorientiert und geben einem das Gefühl, wirklich willkommen zu sein. Wir hatten kein Frühstück gebucht, was aber dank des hoteleigenen Minimarkets kein Problem war. Beim Check-in haben wir sogar ein kostenloses Zimmerupgrade erhalten – ein schöner Start in den Urlaub. Die Abendrestaurants sind hervorragend, sowohl vom Essen als auch vom Service. Besonders das Restaurant Humuhumunukunukuapuaa und das dortige Personal haben unseren Aufenthalt noch entspannter gemacht. Ein ganz großes Dankeschön auch an unser Zimmermädchen von Zimmer 6098 – sie hat ihren Job mit viel Sorgfalt und Liebe zum Detail gemacht. Die Zimmer sind superschön, der Garten ist perfekt gepflegt, der Pool riesig und der Poolservice erstklassig. Insgesamt ein traumhafter Aufenthalt, den wir jederzeit weiterempfehlen können.
