I stayed here this past weekend, and while the room itself was clean, the overall experience fell way short of expectations. The lighting in the room was terribly dark and gloomy, and the bathroom looked nothing like the photos online. The bathroom tiles were completely loose, and both the shampoo and body wash dispensers in the shower were completely empty. To top it off, the hairdryer was not working too. There was no water bottles in the room also the kitchen sink was not working at all. While the room was clean, the rest of the property didn't match—the common hallways were noticeably dirty. The staff were friendly and pleasant to deal with, but extremely unprofessional. Seeing both receptionists walking around the lobby at night in their pajamas was pretty bizarre for a hotel stay. I appreciate the clean room and friendly attitudes, but basic amenities, working fixtures, and professional standards were severely lacking. I wouldn't stay here again. We did a late check in , Kyle , I call him jack of all trade master of mine ☺️☺️☺️. Very courteous and patient , his family also very pleasant. The location is right of the highway and close to shopping or food. Go check them out in Sarnia! Thanks Kyle and family your wife and babies are lovely .

Check in was a good experience. The 'clean' room, was not clean. It looked clean, but the floor was so dirty, I had to lay out towels leading from the bed to the Jacuzzi tub as the grim would stick to my feet. If you wanted the ac (window unit on) you had to leave the bedroom curtain open at night. The bedroom tv doesn't work. Someone tried to smash into my room before checkout. I tried to find staff upon checkout. The area was dark. No staff around.

Rooms were clean. Bathroom was half remodeled. New tile but old chipped, discolored tub. Property grounds were disgusting. Garbage overflowing everywhere. Mentioned to front staff but it never got picked up. No coffee, in room or in lobby.

Although this place is a bit outdated Kyle, his wife and the staff were great.

We had a wonderful stay! The property manager was incredibly accommodating and did everything he could to meet our needs throughout our visit. He and his wife went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, relaxing, and truly memorable. We booked for a total of six rooms. The hotel remained open at night, making it easy for us to explore the beautiful Blue Water Bridge in Point Edward during the evening. During the day, we enjoyed spending time at Canatara Beach, and the flexible late check-in made our arrival smooth and hassle-free. We truly appreciated the exceptional hospitality and attention to detail. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and will definitely book here again!

For a quick overnight stop, the price was great.

I had to switch some of the light bulbs around. One fixture was burnt out completely and another had a bulb that would rapidly blink. Check in was easy and convenient. Good option on a tight budget.

This is a sad and unloved hotel who is well past its prime. I was very uncomfortable staying here and do not recommend it.

There was an odd smell upon entering the room, things seemed surface level clean however you could tell the bathroom especially could've been cleaner and there was some mold and mildew in the shower. If I would've paid anymore for the room I would've been upset but you get what you pay for.

It’s evident this is an older building. The carpeted staircase and hallways were outdated, stained, and smelled bad. The air when you first walk into the building was musky and stale. The rooms had a $250 deposit which felt astronomical compared to the $80 prepaid price I paid for the room. The room itself had an odd layout with both a full size fridge and a mini fridge, a strange counter with a deep tub sink and sprayer in the room itself; though was not a kitchenette by any means. There was a jetted tub in the bathroom but I did not utilize it. The jets looked dirty and I was grossed out at the thought of what would jet out into the water. The tub was missing a handle. I used the shower. The water pressure was very weak and the water temperature was horribly inconsistent. I just dealt with it as I only had a one night stay. Positives were that the hotel was located minutes away from the Blue Water Bridge, and was mildly convenient to several restaurants and parks. This was probably a one time stay venue for me as there were more up to date options in the area which would have made the experience more relaxing.

The room was large with a full size fridge and a comfortable bed. Staff, when you could find them, were friendly and helpful, but there was no-one at the front desk most of the time. I liked the cafe attched. Some renovations had been done, like flooring and tiling, but the bathroom fixtures were old and just functional. Cleaning could have been done better.

The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and the price for what we got was honestly fantastic. Very simple front desk process. My only "complaints" I guess would be the lack of coffee in the main lobby in the morning. There is coffee provided in the room but there wasn't any creamer or sugar. Otherwise, I give this Hotel 5 stars!
