I don't know why the hotel require the extra-money for parking fee

Excellent location near Eyre Square and the Latin Quarter in Galway. Staff were super friendly, hotel was excellent.

The location is excellent- next to rhe coach and trem station

We were upgraded to the Suite on arrival and it did not disappoint. The room was spacious with a large private balcony with amazing views. Welcome drinks and sweets waiting on arrival along with a personalised welcome card added to the outstanding service.

Our room was beautiful. Elegant, clean….the bathroom sparkling. I hated leaving this place! The staff was exceptional, helpful, from the front desk to the friendly, welcoming hosts and servers in the dining room. It was so nice to have this retreat waiting for you when you’re out and about all day, experiencing Ireland life. How I love Ireland!

Reception areas and room quality were good although the room we were allocated was very poorly located (dark and partly overlooked a raised platform and hotel reception - room 114.) However on request we were allocated an upgrade and the reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was very clean although water pressure in bathroom was poor. Staff in dining room and reception were professional and pleasant. Hotel location was less than a 10 minute walk to the town centre and railway station which is perfect for visitors arriving by train

Room was clean and comfortable, location was great, easy drive coming into Galway. Short walk to great restaurants and shops.

Terrible bathroom and the breakfast was awful. Cold eggs, bad rashers and funny taste off the rolls. Couldn't eat the scrambled eggs.

Clean and convenient - just the right amount of outside of downtown core / nice views from the restaurant. Not my room though haha // the east wing room was facing nothing really.

The hotel was very clean and everything looked new and the staff was friendly and eager to be of assistance. It was also situated a very comfortable walking distance to downtown (Latin Quarter). I would say it would be perfect if there were drawers in the room (besides from the two very small drawers in the closet) and the lighting was significantly better. Seems like small issues, but for those reasons, I won't likely go there again. It is just a matter of small inconvenience. We were there for 5 days and there was not adequate drawer space for all of our clothing. In addition, the lighting in the bathroom was so low that it was impossible to put on make up on (despite having a magnifying mirror on the side). Both the tiny bulb in the ceiling and the strip lighting next to the mirror were very low and golden in color. The desk light was also too low and warm, so I had to stand in the window and use a small hand mirror. I was able to call down for more towels and robes but it would have been nice to have the robes already in the room. Breakfast looked like a nice spread but at 25 euros, it was a lot of money for a breakfast and 90% of it I wouldn't eat. Would have been nice to have a lower cost 'a la carte' option in the hotel, but Wilde across the street was a very nice place to get a bite in the morning.

The room was rather Spartan. No drawers for clothes. Plumbing was primitive( some sort of pump toilet). All electric was slave to key card. No idea how to turn on anything including coffee brewer, individual light switches, and several room lights. Only a comforter on the bed, no sheets resulting in much too warm or really chilly. All this aside, the place was very congenial and well situated to the wonderful city of Galway.Any review would be incomplete without mentioning the marvelous FOOD! Morning,noon and night just super. Try the duck.

Wonderful breakfast and lovely

Our first night in we tried to order food for our kids but the phone in our room didn’t work. When we went downstairs to the restaurant it took them a while to figure it how to order food to our room. When it showed up to the room it didn’t have the drinks we ordered and the person was upset with us because we didn’t use the phone to order our food. The pool is not just the hotels pool, it is a gym that you can buy a membership to. The “kids pool” was small and cold.

A very nice hotel. Limited extras, no free biscuits provided with in room tea and coffee. Limited chef cook breakfast dishes. eg no avocado on toast or kippers

Great Hotel. 10-15 mins from main action, which isnt a bad thing. Staff was terrific and place exceeded expectations!
