Rooms are like ovens. Forget using this hotel if you can't sleep with heat. It's horrendous. No air conditioning, just red hot rooms with no air flow. Windows are thin and road noise is super loud. Avoid this place

This hotel is ok. I stayed in one of the suites which was quite nice . I would have appreciated a small fridge which is fairly standard in most hotels. I was disappointed that my room was not cleaned during my stay . I stayed for two nights. The WiFi was not good in my room. Breakfast was fine but I had a pizza for lunch. This was distinctly average. Suspect the base was shop bought and who puts cress on a pepperoni pizza. Very odd. At check out I was given the option of leaving a tip. Very odd I have not come across this before . Nothing about my stay warranted a tip. I would have done if you had cleaned my room.

Great location and a true to life oldie worlde 400 year old hotel. But with a truly modern twist. Where old accommodates new. Pleasantly surprised by the lovely foyer/rest area and dining and breakfast rooms. Such a great place to hold a venue such as a wedding, a milestone birthday or a family christening etc. The rooms are very clean with exceptional decor. En-suite bathroom with a good shower, all toiletriers supplied, along with fresh towels. Impeccable made beds, with tea/coffee making facilities. Along with a colour television. Makes for a home from home stay. Lovely rooms with modern decor, clean and inviting. Beds are made up to the highest standard. Tea and coffee making facilities. A lovely en-suite bath. With a walk in shower. Having toiletries and freshly laundred towels. The morning breakfast is a great start to the day, offering a full varied range, from ceareals, English breakfast with a choice of butchers seasoned suasages, fied eggs, hash browns, grilled tomatoes, back bacon, baked beans, mushrooms. Pastries, toast, marmalade, jam, honey. Fresh fuit, low calorie yoghurt, vegan/ vegetarian oat milks, low calorie crisps, tea and coffee, fresh orange and apple juhce. Friendly and attentive staff who make your staff who are always at hand and making sure your stay is an enjoyable one. This along with a good bar and a great restaurant serving food. Especially Sunday roast dinner a must to have, a lovely outside garden. To sit outside in those lovely hot sunny day

Our room in the Main building was spacious & spotlessly clean. Our greeting on arrival was warm & efficient. The free parking is ideal. Well done & thank you to the whole team.

Stay here regularly as Son and family live close by Staff always friendly and very accommodating Rooms been redecorated since last visit in March Only complaint would be no working electric car charger points

The hotel is being renovated in areas and what is done is very nice. The only complaint I have are the pillows, they are so hard and not comfortable to sleep on.

Room recently renovated. All clean tidy and new. No issues. Lovely gardens too

The room was not as we saw on the website, we didn’t have a garden view but a large wall, which made the room really dark, the carpet was stained, the breakfast was ok until my husband saw the chef put cereals spilt on the table back in the pots with the ones to be eaten , there was a big sign outside saying come and look at our refurbished rooms, we certainly didn’t get one

Didn't have breakfast. Very comfortable beds. Fire doors a little loud when closing.

Had a lovely overnight stay. Staff were really friendly and exceptionally helpful. A really beautiful old building. Buffet breakfast was good. Had a very pleasant evening meal there too. Grounds were delightful. Stayed in one of their suites. Really spacious.

We had a lovely room in main building, staff are so helpful & friendly, everyone has a smile on their face. Lovely cooked breakfast which set us up each day on our short stay. It's a great base to visit the surrounding areas.

Easy to find and fantastic big car park at the back of the hotel which was included in the price of our stay. Lovely warm room, comfortable bed and great shower. There was a good breakfast selection but staff didn’t interact with customers and didn’t clear our table once during our 2 day stay. I hate dirty pots around me!! Also no conversation with restaurant staff about alternatives for breakfast as only had fried eggs on offer at self selection. I asked for poached eggs and it took them over 20 mins to bring them to me. I asked twice how long they would be and was told there is a bit of a delay with my order as quite a few people had ordered them. Not sure why as it only takes a couple of mins to cook these!! Also hot food options were empty and had to keep asking for things which was a bit annoying. Overall our stay was okay and I would stay again.

Within walking distance of shops, pubs and restaurants so perfect location with free parking. We stayed in a very comfortable suite lots of space to relax and lovely view over the garden. Very quiet at night and a good selection of food for breakfast hot and cold. Will definitely stay again.

Right in the centre of beautiful banbury. Good choice of cider.

Clean room, slightly small. Central location with parking, not much to complain about!

No Hot water on the first evening was told by the male receptionist that they would 'do something for me' but nothing appeared and then told they will get it fixed, Rang that evening as still no hot water and was told to let it run for 5 minutes but still nothing. final morning lovely hot water, no apology until I told the receptionist how frustrating it was. Room I stayed in had multiple issues including the mess on the ceiling, a broken slat in the radiator cover and a broken cover for the plughole in the shower that is quite a trip hazard
