Please bring your hair dryer from home when staying here. I've stayed in many hotels in the world, but I've never seen one, no matter how low-rated, without a hair dryer. However, there is no hair dryer in the room here. We asked for a hair dryer in the evening, but the front desk staff said there were no hair dryers left. The next morning I called the front desk again and asked for a hair dryer and the front desk staff said the housekeeper would bring it to our room, but I didn't receive it until I checked out. In the end, I couldn't dry my hair after showering, and my daughter, who has long hair, needs to dry her hair after shower, so she gave up showering. It is basic to have a hair dryer in each room, but I can't imagine not having a hair dryer in a hotel room. Also, I saw a review saying that an indoor pool booking was necessary, so I inquired about how to make a pool reservation through the hotel website the day before check-in, but there was no reply until check-in. So we were not able to use the swimming pool on the first day of our stay. Also, there is a disgusting sewer smell in the elevator. My family hated the smell so much that we had to always use the stairs while staying at this hotel.

The only good thing was the bed comfort. We stayed 2 nights. There was no maid service and they were ballsy enough to leave an envelope suggesting we leave a tip. The outdoor pool is at the golf course which is a short drive away and if you want to use it you have to make a reservation and you only get 1 hour as there is a 10 person limit. And where the spa is who knows, couldn’t find it. Construction material strewn all about. What a mess. No restaurant. This place is an accident waiting to happen. Wont be going there ever again. Not worth the price at all. The check in man and lady were nice but the evening guy was not. We booked a reservation for 2 at the pool but when we got there they didn’t have it. When we went back to the hotel we spoke to him about it an he had the nerve to say go complain to them. Just won’t be back there ever again.

Room given was very comfortable neat. staff was very help-full although our experience was good we recommend it in our future stays as well

The hotel is subpar to say the least. We arrived at 340 pm check in is at 4 pm and our room wasn't ready. They don't clean rooms daily. For the price I don't think this is acceptable. We didn't realize the outside pool is for adults only until we checked in.

Living Stone is a hotel we have stayed for 10+ years. The family outdoor pool has been closed since 2020 and the reamining outdoor pool is adults only. It is disappointing that families are forced to swim indoors and cannot enjoy thw summer weather swimming outdoors. August 2025 Living Stone is under construction for extensive rennos so parking lot is dusty. The main lobby and fitness room are in a makeshift space. We stayed 4 nights and didn't have any cleaning services. I could have used new towels after 2 nights. Instead we took towels from the i door pool to use. Overall, the hotel is in a good location - strategically between the downtown area and Blue Mountains; 30 mins to Wasaga Beach. Best price is booking through a third party vendor, not the resort, as vendors will usually give you a 24hr cancellation policy.

The rooms are decent. They are working on the left half of the buildimg, but we didnt see any activity or hear any construction noises. If they focussed on some details in the room it would be 100%. For example grime around the bathtub cocking, and our room had a bit of an old smell...maybe from the smoking days? It is resaonably priced though and good overall. You also get a coupom for the driving range and to go kayaking at the other Living Resort.

The room itself was nice and clean. There is no housekeeping - you must ask for towels, toilet paper or anything else you may want during your stay like coffee. This isn’t really a problem except they do not tell you when you check in. I asked on day we were out for the day and asked if someone could come in our room to refresh our towels. The front said yes and wrote our room number down. When we came back nothing was done and we were told there is no house keeping but they could get towels to us and leave ours in the hallway. It was alright. The pool was nice. The reception area is off to the side and the hotel is under renovation.

Excellent value for proximity to the village. The room are okay. The lobby is still closed off due to construction. Overall, nothing exceptional but no serious complaints.

The hotel is currently under renovations. The exercise room has been relocated to a former hotel room, so it is very small. There is no restaurant on site, and the vending machine only has food snacks, there was no availability of any drinks. The coffee machine that was in the room was not a Keurig, but a small coffee pot which was not desirable. It was nice to have a room with a walk out, but the chairs and the floor on the balcony were very dirty. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and welcoming. All of the art work in the room and the hallways appear to have religious quotes .

Clean very professional staffs

It’s like an old motel but with new furniture, very noisy and difficult to sleep but good if you travel with pets. Very weird smell like spices in the room not so fun. Other than the 50$ hidden fee for pets it’s okay overall, veryyyyy good location but I recommend the living water resort way better.
