Die Lage ist hervorragend, die Anlage gepflegt, unsere Suite war sehr geräumig und hatte eine traumhafte Aussicht auf Pico. Der Pool ist wunderbar mit angrenzendem Barbereich. Einziges Manko ist das Frühstück, man braucht Geduld, da das Personal an die Grenzen stößt. Wenn man sich damit arrangiert, hat man einen super tollen Aufenthalt!

A nice room with a beautiful view over Horta harbor. Very helpful staff and a great breakfast. Shame I could only stay one night!

Très bonne localisation quant à la marina, et quelques restos. Odeur désagréable dans les chambres.

Clean, outdoor pool, great breakfast

Lage in der Mitte von Horta ist natürlich genial. Pool und andere Angebote des Hotels konnten auf Grund der Randbedingungen (s.u.) nicht genutzt werden. Erster Eindruck vom Hotel ist gut, bei genauerem Hinsehen zeigt sich aber, dass es in die Jahre gekommen ist. Hat ein wenig vom Kolonialstil. Abwertung erfolgt, da wir auf Grund massivem Schlechtwetter 3 Tage nicht nach Faial fliegen konnten und das Hotel nur für eine kurze Nacht (statt 4) nutzen konnten, und das Hotel, obwohl von mir laufend auf Stand bzgl. Anreise gehalten, kein Entgegenkommen beim Preis zeigte sondern auf dem vollen Preis für 4 Nächte bestand.

Room was nice, with the exception of our queen bed being two pushed together singles (two separate covers also…). Nice view from hotel. Great location and very central. Amenities look great but are terrible. Cold, moldy indoor pool with cockroaches. Hot tub was barely even warm. Sauna broken. Steam room cold and smelt of mold.

Zimmer war schon älter und mit vielen Abnutzungen .Die Badewanne mit Duschvorhang entspricht auch nicht einem 4 Sterne Hotel.Das Frühstück war gut.

Excelente hospedagem. Quartos amplos, vista incrível da marina do Faial. Staff atencioso, pequeno almoço com muita variedade e qualidade. Se situa muito próximo de restaurantes na melhor localização de Horta.

Zimmer war nicht so sauber. Da lag beispielsweise eine tote Fliege rum. Frühstück war gut und viel Auswahl. Ist alles bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber tut was es soll.

First of all the service was very great, friendly and helpful at all times. The breakfast was very complete and the service super attentive at every moment. The room itself was not well maintained, old-fashioned and the facilities not what we expected from the photos. It was clean but if a place isn’t maintained you can’t clean certain things anymore properly. The location was very central and the parking lot a plus.

Hotel já com alguns anos mas otimo para passar alguns dias de trabalho ou descanço. Espaço exterior muito bom. Facil de ir a pé até à zona da marina da Horta

Frühstück ist hervorragend, alles frisch und große Auswahl. Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und mit Teppich ausgelegt, etwas muffig. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wellnessbereich ist gut, in der Sauna werden von den meisten Gästen keine Handtücher verwendet.

The hotel is great. The pool and common areas are showing their age, but are clean and well-maintained. Staff are excellent and the included breakfast is very good.

We used the pool and hot tub! Both were enjoyable!

Staff always prompt to say hi or Good Morning.
