disappointment and frustration with my recent check-in experience at this hotel. On arrived at Quorn Country Hotel and attempted to check in, but was incorrectly accused of not paying for my room. I had booked and paid for my stay through the Experia app, but the staff refused to acknowledge this and demanded an additional payment.
I was shocked and embarrassed by the situation, especially as there were other guests queuing behind me. Despite my clear explanation and offer to provide proof of payment, I was forced to pay for my room again, as I had no choice but to resolve the situation quickly.
I understand that mistakes can happen, but the lack of understanding and support from the staff was unacceptable. I'm now seeking a full refund for the duplicate payment and an apology for the distress and inconvenience caused.
