Very good service thanks for everything

Room was just okay, upgrades are needed in areas, had a mini kitchen in unit but nothing to cook with not even utensils. Restaurant on site was good, good food and reasonable prices. Laundry on site, it was $3 per was and $3 per dry, convient though. Alot of people hanging around outside, sometimes felt sketchy. Overall it was fine for the week but probly would not return.

Very friendly professional staff. Delicious food at the restaurant attached. Large selection of food. Clean rooms. Great air conditioning. Very comfy bed and sheets. Beautiful area. Lots of restaurants close by. Great coffee. Affordable price. I will stay again. Dave Bruni

Pas une bonne odeur dans la chambre, et plus de petites mouches une infection. Et au départ il avait une personne qui dormait en plein milieu du corridor… Pas une belle expérience.

My husband and I stayed at Newstar Montreal from June 23 to June 30. The room was clean, and although the air conditioner was quite noisy, it worked well. Unfortunately, our overall experience was very disappointing because of the terrible customer service. When we checked out, I accidentally left two hoodies in the closet by the room entrance. As soon as we realized it, my husband called the hotel to ask if they had been found so we could pick them up a couple of hours later. Every time he called, he was told he would be transferred to the front desk, but he was simply left on hold. After several attempts, they stopped answering our calls altogether. In the end, we decided not to waste our time going back. It was only clothing, but I can’t imagine how frustrating this would have been if we had left something valuable. Because of the extremely poor customer service, I would not recommend this hotel and would never stay there again.

The only redeeming quality was the front desk staff who allowed us early check in and very helpful on checkout. But this hotel is dirty and tired. Musty smells, sketchy clientele, bathroom that I wouldn’t step into and a kitchenette that was beyond dated and gross. I needed to be close to a venue I was attending but I would never stay here again…they should not be charging $200/night.

This hotel was actually quite nice. Maybe my expectations were low but I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the room was. Did not hear any road noise at all. Staff was super friendly. My only complaint would be I prefer very thin pillows and the room only had thick ones. Nothing against the hotel and I did not deduct any stars for this. Overall a good stay.

Le personnel était courtois, mais rien de plus. La chambre était propre, mais les installations son vieillissantes (ex: douche), mais acceptable. Les lits sont très confortables, mais il n'y a qu'un seul format d'oreiller (énorme). Je vous conseille d'apporter le vôtre. Pour le prix c'était bien.

The room was very clean and well maintained. The amenities that we took advantage of, the range and washer/dryer were also great as well. The location was super easy to catch buses as well as several restaurants and stores within walking distance. We stayed for a week and never felt unsafe even walking after dark. Great place VERY helpful staff. We will stay again.

Séjour de 7 nuits avec mon fils. J'ai ai choisi un appart hôtel pour pouvoir y cuisiner de temps en temps mais il n'y avait rien ! En fait, je dois louer le matériel pour 25$, (avec garantie) et je reçois le minimum requis : couverts X2, 2 gobelets, 2 assiettes et 2 bols, le tout en plastique. Il y a une poêle et une casserole et une cuillère en bois. J'ai également du savon liquide et une éponge. Je ne peux cuisiner que sur 1 seule taque sinon les plombs sautent ! Pas mise au courant de ce détail... Point positif : capsules de café mises à notre disposition. La propreté laisse à désirer. Pas de ménage alors que nous y restons 7 nuits sauf si je paye. Les serviettes sont changées la veille de mon départ (??) mais pas les draps. L'air co est très froid et on décide de l'arrêter mais du coup, tout est "cru" : nos vêtements, nos sacs, le sol,.. La chambre sent l'humidité. Il y a des fourmis dans la salle de bain. Et cerise sur le gâteau : nous découvrons, à la fin de notre séjour, un insecte. Avec le recul, nous pensons que c'était un cafard !! Le personnel est correct.

Clean and safe

The property was clean, disinfected and had ample parking space. The hotel was within reach of a few restaurants and a grocery store which was a plus. It is also situated near a nice park which is a walkable distance. I only wished the hotel rooms had a clock, suitcase stand, a notepad for convenience. Most of the hotels or motels I have stayed in always had one in our room. The tap of the shower was wably which needs to be fixed.

Very clean, friendly and polite staff. Well located close to everything. We stayed for two weeks and no complaints.
