Always had good stay with village before but this time there was problem at check in as I booked through Expedia. Paid through Expedia, and only had to pay for late check out at hotel but they tried to take full stay and the extra payment. They kept saying there was issue as there was insufficient fund in my card but I had already paid for stay. They blamed Expedia for this. Already a bad start to the stay. The rooms itself are good then when it came to the next day, even though we paid for late checkout cleaning staff opened the door while we were sleeping at 11. No knock prior. Overall bad experience this time.

Great for an overnight stay, beds very comfortable

We stayed only for a night but it was very comfortable and looks amazing!!

Hotel is reasonable, staff are good and rooms are a standard size, beds are very comfy, not the best area but ideal if you want to get the train (10 min walk)

The privacy setting for the shower screen didn't work, but at least the window opened to help cool the room down. Comfy enough bed and friendly staff.

I have no issues with this Hotel it was very clean and presentable. It is also incredibly quiet at night. I would highly recommend.

Rooms were great, clean, modern, and cosy. Not big but all you need

Hotel rooms are not sound proofed at all, can here the slightest noise from next door and above. It was so bad I drove home in the middle of the night rather than staying in the room, will not stay here again.

Staff were excellent and very helpful

The room was clean, staff were friendly and courteous. The breakfast was good . Nice swimming and again the staff were friendly and helpful. There were two problems with the room. The first was the wall to the bathroom and toilet. We did not like the glass door and cannot see the point in having a transparent wall, albeit it can be made semi-transparent, so were not happy with this. The other, more minor, problem was the size of the cups in the room. They were far too small for tea or coffee other than espresso, which we didn't want.

The bed was so comfortable, pool was amazing, staff were so kind and the hotel was so clean and aesthetically pleasing. The best stay

The room was so tiny we struggled to move around and the bathroom is in the room so there’s no privacy at all. Really awful set up especially if travelling with another person.

First of all staff,I was not given accurate information concerning breakfast and there was no option for people that do not eat pork, the receptionist at the check in was being dismissive to attend to our case. In the room there should be toilet brush for the WC unless you want guest to keep the toilet messy. There should be complimentary water, tooth brush and toothpaste in the room for guests.

Staff in reception were great very informative and helped us check in on the self check in machine. Room was clean and modern really great powerful shower. Used the pool sauna and steam room was all really good. Breakfast was lovely

The shower was a strange set up because the water went all over the place and into the carpet plus everytime you went to the sink or toilet after using the shower you ended up with wet feet time and time again. Very strange We also believe the extracter the shower didn’t work either. We came into the hotel at 10.20 and couldn’t get a drink from anywhere. Very disappointing

Room was good but disappointed with extras as no biscuits or bottled water, which I’d have expected at the price. Checking in was impersonal and hectic and disappointed that the hotel carried no spare toothpaste kits - I’d forgotten toothpaste - as most hotels in this price range would. Making money seemed a higher priority than customer care.

Staff very attentive. Food was lovely. Great size bed, however the space in the room is limited.
